This stuff is Amazing
Forget triple antibiotic ointment. Go with Rawleigh's salve instead. With turpentine as an active ingredient to help draw infection and expedite healing of wounds, scrapes, burns, cuts, stings, etc., it really is the best choice you can make for yourself. It's isn't cheap, but with this stuff a little bit goes a long way, and a small tin lasts me a year or more with average use. It has a pleasant pine-y, smell, but isn't too overpowering, and can be used for animals except for cats. I think every household should have a tin of this stuff on hand. Highly recommend.

Great healing salve!
I had a flower stem in my hand when I fell on an icy sidewalk and landed in a flowerbed. I used the Watkins salve to draw out the stem. My home health nurse recommended using a drawing salve. It worked great.

The smell could be a little overpowering for some.
Item was fine. I bought it as a replacement to Petro Carbo which was discontinued. The tin arrived bent from Amazon so I’m not sure whether that was in shipping or handling of the package, but I could still open it.

Bought to use on an elderly person that had thin skin on the arms and it is very helpful .

Increased cost
My Family has used this product for many years and my grandfather was a dealer for years. My grandfather used it on everything! Best wound healer I have ever used. The price has go e up since I last bought it. It was under 5 dollars a tin now it is over $20

Excellent Antiseptic
Me & my family have used this product for years. It is great on cuts, hang nails, etc. Wrap it overnight… no pain next day! It will make a believer out of you! Very mild smell. Oily texture when warm. Easily cleaned off skin. We will buy again!
