Exactly the same stuff as the smaller spools for fly line leader building, but much more cost efficient!

Maxima Fishing Line
No one sells the eighteen pound Maxima at local stores. I was very happy to find this. Maxima is great for building steelhead leaders.

Best fishing line, fish can't see it
Been using this line for over 50 years, really catches finicky fish. best line too use in very clear water, very good abrasion & strength.

Favorite mono
Used this brand for 46 years and it’s NEVER let me down with a fish. Tried other brands over the years and regretted it at the net too many times. Yes I will use florocarbon with line shy fish but I use this as my go to line for a salmon fly leader. Great knot strength, a bit of flex under the rod tip , ties any knot from a blood knot, a perfection loop, to a turtle knot . Why change a winning formula, it works
