I recently did a paint along with Aimee & really enjoyed her loose style, so ended up ordering this book. Good section on different light and weather conditions. She reminds us that you need to plan well to produce a loose painting. Do Notan sketches & thumbnail plans. There are lots of pictures & a few demos too.

Aimee Eriksson is a master painter whose pictures of air, light, water and everything else are phenomenal. She brings great joy and colour in her work and in this book she explains how to go about creating such art.

I normally paint in acrylics but have wanted to go back to using oils. This book is so full of helpful information, suggestions, colour mixes, and vibrantly explained.

Love this book. Highly recommend this, especially to a beginner plein air painter like myself.
