I have purchased these bulbs many times in the past and they have lasted a very long time. The last 2 pack I bought were terrible, the first bulb fell apart from the metal screw base after 2 or 3 days, the second bulb shattered in large chunks after about 4 days. I was lucky they did not fall through the screen where my pond turtle is. This is the first time I have had a problem which makes me wonder if the supplier I purchased from sold me a different brand or fake brand. I always buy Repti Zoo products and never had an issue before. When I contacted the vendor I received an answer to contact the manufacturer.
