Good quality and quantity to make my own Bordeaux fungicide solution for my plants

Haven't used it yet, but researched ways to preserve eggs without hard boiling them & found this slaked lime. Yes, anxious to try it.

Yeah, worked great for my pretzels! The whole 'food grade chef' thing worked well to allay the fears of my roommate who wasn't sure I wasn't trying to kill us. They LOVED the pretzels. It only contained enough for a couple batches, and I bought a 16oz container of a different brand for just a few bucks more. But for an into product, great. All stars.

The red warning box on the label made me think I ordered the wrong product. I watched the video on the website and although they acknowledged the warning label at the beginning of the video they (at least to me) seemed to "laugh it off" and then just go on to the recipe. Some additional insight as to why the warning and precautions that are appropriate would have put my mind at ease.

Fine product

I’m sure this is a fine cooking product, but I bought it mistakenly with an eye to its use as a dental aid. I was going thru a DIY dentistry phase and calcium hydroxide is used in a filling to prevent or slow the resumption of decay. But what I didn’t realize was that the dental kind is buffered to be ph neutral and not burn a hole thru your cheek, which this would.Yabba dabba do!

I bought this specifically to test the purity of my own calcium hydroxide made in house and I was quite happy with the results. You can make slaked lime easily at home and for cheaper than what it costs here if you know your chemistry.

I used it for baking, amazing all the different uses this product has in all different cuisines. Girls will be moaning in pleasure just after one bite when they come over for dinner! Your family will even be rolling on the floor!
