Perfect for any Sherlockian
I recently received as this a gift from a close friend of my mine, and I can't describe how amazing it is. The fact that this fandom (best fandom out there, and oldest) created a book full of fanart and fanfiction is purely awesome. A lot of the stories have educated me on the better writers that are out there, and I can say I'm now following a large majority of them on tumblr. I'm really glad I had this book to read, and it is a most definite buy. I'll be re-reading it a few times without a doubt.I believe in Sherlock Holmes!

Holmes Hop Scotch
Hannah Rogers has compiled a wide ranging and varied series of contributions from Holmes fans just about everywhere. The illustrations in the paper back are in b&w. I imagine they are more pleasing in color. This is a book you can read many ways. Front to Back; Specific subjects; Specific Contributors; Literary form ( Prose and/or Poetry) My personal preference is to graze and keep going back for more. And there is plenty to return to. A nice editorial and production job resulting in a new way to think about the Holmes canon. Well worth having handy.

Some stories in this are very good
Not bad and some of the stories are very good as id some of the art work. Some miss the mark but all in all It is okay. Most fans would really like it

Frustrating
I bought the paperback. The artwork is in black and white, and poorly reproduced. I understand from comments elsewhere that the kindle version has the color art, so if you're going to spend money, go that route. Doesn't help people who don't have kindles much though.

Awesome!
A really ncie combination of poems, short-stories and fan artwork! Some really talented people has contributed to this, and I really recommend it if you're a fan of Sherlock Holmes.I enjoyed this book a lot and it was really worth the price :)The only down side is that all of the illustrations is printed in b&w, which really doesn't give them justice. I've seen a few of them in colour on the internet and they look so much better the way they were intended.

The art of deduction
I think it`s a spledid idea to collect money this way. As a Sherlock Holmes - fan since childhood I appriciateboth the Undershaw campaign and the help for the real "Watsons" of today. There are many very good stories and poems in this book and all fans of crimestories ought to have one.

Nice idea, but the realization isn't good
Nice idea, but the realization isn't good. Poor quality andigital not particularly nice design doesn’t work for me.

A great idea. Bit not good outcome.
Although the idea that started this project is brilliant and brilliantly went from that to an actual book, the black and white print doesn't do justice to the fan works and the artists that made the effort to create them. Some of them are hardly recognizable if you compare them to the originals. The choice of the fonts and the general flow of the pages make it look cheap. I know this is not meant to be a best-seller but a little bit more professionalism to make it not look like something self-published wouldn't hurt.
