Although tasty, crisp and sold in a convenient jar, they are more oily than others. China has established national food safety standards for nuts and seeds, including limits for pesticide residues. According to China's National Food Safety Standard on Nut and Seed Food (GB 2763), the limits for pesticide residues in dry raw nuts and seeds must comply with specified provisions . However, enforcement and adherence to these standards can vary, and instances of violations have been reported.
