We needed an airtight container to store our opened breakfast cereal. It was an ongoing problem; we kept the original bag of cereal in the original box. More often than not, a few buds of cereal would fall back into the box instead of falling back into the bag. (It had to have been my husband; I would never let that happen!) Of course, I would always be the one to empty the bag and since we recycle, separating the plastic from the box. I would find stale chewy buds in the bottom and as grose as it sounds, I ate the stale buds. I had enough of it. We required an airtight container to maintain the cereal's freshness and crunchiness, and to hold an entire box of cereal. I put my husband to the task and he found Viretec Rice Airtight Storage Container. It is perfect, AWESOME, and best of all my cereal is fresh and crunchy. We could not have designed a better storage container. It holds all of my 22 ounces, and much more, plus it is 9 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" wide and 6" deep. The opening has a removable measuring cup that with a twist makes the container airtight. Although the measuring cup is a universal 180ml Cup (1 Cup=180ml). It's not a special US Cup of 250ml. Do not use it as a US 250ml Cup. Since I'm a Georgia Girl, I can certainly adapt. Last but not least, the Ergonomic handle with a perfect groove design which meets your one hand operation requirement. Oh, I forgot it has 4 Side-Locking Lids and a Portable handle. It is Awesome, Wonderful, and we love this product.

This container is sturdy, airtight, and holds about 3–5 pounds. The measuring cup is super helpful, and I love that I can see how much is left. Perfect for rice, cereal, or pet food. Very satisfied!

Worth noting first thing, the build quality is questionable. The back tab did not want to keep closed at first for some reason, and the "hinges" on all the tabs are very thin which makes me worried about longevity. However, to be fair, once the back tab decided to stay in place, it's all be good for the past week. I even got daring and shook the container by the handle while it was full and it stayed together. The measuring cup measures to 180ml, which seems to be universal (as far as I've noticed) for rice cooker scoops, so that's appreciated. All in all, I'm not disappointed once the tab issue went away. If anything goes wrong with it though, I'll be sure to update.

I bought this for my son as part of a Christmas gift along with a rice cooker. It does keep the rice stored airtight. I have older/original cabinets so I can’t stand the container upright, but it fits perfectly on its side. It’s 100% better than wrestling with a floppy rice bag. I would recommend this product.

I bought this to store my Oxiclean powder. This container is really well made and thoughtfully designed. It has one side indented for easy gripping, the top latches on easily, the measuring cup is perfect! It is easy to fill, easy to pour and overall makes life easier.

I was very annoyed the first couple times I used them because it felt like the lid was impossible to clip on but after you wear it in it becomes easier and easier to use, making them very useful containers .

No me gusto para nada la calidad del plástico, la tapa no cerraba bien y aparte parecía que se iba a romper al cerrar, tamaño demasiado chico, en general no me gusto nada el producto, por eso lo devolví.

it's now up to $50aud??? the lid is such cheap, thin quality, that the 'buckles' are immediately straining and about to break... NOT worth the price. i got a random $20 one last year and the only reason i tried to replace it was because of the breaking measuring cup... other than that it was far superior to this... don't get it, especially for regular use

Love everything about this storage container! A handle? An attached measuring cup? They seriously thought this through! I am definitely switching all my pantry items to these containers!

I was thinking about using this item to contain the rice. However, for an Asian family, a 10-pound dry food container is insufficient to contain rice. Nonetheless, this is an excellent product.
