Not worth it
These kits are marketed as preventing drafts on exterior wall outlet boxes. They do not do a good job at that. I recently used them for about 8 exterior wall outlet boxes on somewhat well insulated walls and I can still feel a draft. The only reason I give them 2 stars is that I believe the draft would be worse without them. I will need to do additional draft treatments to the boxes that had these installed. Also, when installed properly, the outlet box drywall cutout will be slightly larger than without this kit applied. These means you will need to use medium or jumbo covers on your outlet boxes. It's not the end of the world, but worth noting. I would not use these again and would not recommend them to others.

Has more issues than it's worth
The idea and intent are good, but this product probably isn't the best way to truly air seal electrical boxes. There are some significant drawbacks. An open gap around a box is only one place where air gets through. Most boxes are literally full of perforations. Granted, ME provides a couple little pieces of insulation tape, but they are unlikely to completely seal all these holes, especially around entering wires. The flanges are quite thick...so thick that they will cause the drywall to bulge where the flange is over a stud. You could cut it off, but that defeats the purpose. Finally, they aren't as "universal" as suggested. Ironically, they don't fit on ME's own 2g multi-mount boxes. I had to shave off the box's relief ribs to get this thing on. To completely seal a typical electrical box, it pretty much has to be caulked/foamed from behind while the wall is open, then around the box after the drywall is up. Otherwise, air moves readily through the gap, through the device body, and through the box's perforations. This product effectively addresses only one of those areas of infiltration, and adds inconvenience to the drywall installation (because of the high spot it creates). Not really worth the cost/effort.

Perfect fit on a Madison Single Gang Box.
This draft seal fits the Madison Electric Products MSB22+ Single Gang Box (see photo). I apply some caulk around the inside lip that touches the box. Then I snap on the seal. A rubber membrane provides the airtight barrier after the Sheetrock is installed. Pros: Sturdy construction. Foam rubber air seal. Works with Madison's single gang electrical box. Cons: Amazon's prices for Madison Electric Products are very high.
