This is a quality potato masher and will last for many years if taking care of properly. It is constructed very well and very sturdy. It is made of quality material. it is weighted very well without being heavy. It is comfortable and smooth in the hand. There are no sharp edges like some others have mentioned. It is not boxed, it is in a bag.

This is the best potato masher we have had. Handle is a little long but this is a solid product that will not break if pressure is applied like some of the cheaper ones.
