Really strong, brilliant

Made a replacement heavy duty garden gate for a neighbour. Needed to be robust and secure.So far so good. Has worked as advertised, no sign of any corrosion or wear.

These gate bolts are of a reasonable quality for the price. I wouldn't be using the screws though, they are far too short for my liking, I have plenty of alternative screws to use; so not a deal breaker.

Gate Bolts, they do what they are supposed to do.

Was having difficulty closing my garden gate as the existing bolt had slipped out of alignment and had become stiff and a bit rusty. I could have given it a good spray with WD40 and tried to adjust the gate where it had dropped but I couldn't be bothered. Instead, I just bought a new bolt lock and removed the old one. Was easy to fit but I did use longer screws rather than the ones provided. Very pleased with this item, it's exactly what I wanted and appears to be nice and sturdy so I expect it to last many years.

OK - but not really 'Heavy Duty'

Purchased for a garage side door. Sturdy and is holding up to the weather so far. Excellent anti tamper bolts. Happy with this item and would buy again. Good value.

Not the best quality but quite sturdy nevertheless , includes 'carriage' bolts to help anchor in place , but why is the gate bolt socket a thinner gauge to gate bolt assembly ? not convinced it could withstand a forced entry , & I have fitted two locks per door !
