Only magnetic on one side. Not dual. The visible side in the photo is sticky, not magnetic.

I have a magnet mount for my cell phone in my car so this was just a natural extension. May of the pieces of equipment at the gym do not have cup holders and on the rare occasion I want to film myself, I am not "that guy or girl" at the gym with a tripod. I am older (50) and my back isn't what it was so not having to pick up my phone off the ground in-between sets to input my workout information is worth every penny,

It’s easy to install but don’t hold the phone properly, stick is not good, the size is ok

I feel the magnets could be just a slight bit stronger, though it has been sufficient for me so far. I've found that the size of this has also made it convenient to use as a holder while using my phone and as a stand when watching things on my phone.
