It’s super easy to understand and I love the color! It’s sturdy and isn’t too heavy to lug around. One of the better versions of the Bible that I own. The breakdown in the beginning of each book gives you a better understanding and also has reading plans for each book. Also comes with a timeline or map.

I also love how there is space in the margins for taking notes. They also included a plan on how to accomplish reading the Bible in a year with a checklist to follow each week. So cool!

Beautiful Bible filled with many maps and calligraphy. Please look at my photos. Using my reading glasses and the font is perfect. The pages are thin to medium…I could still put tabs on. I am able to highlight with pastel highlighters and it doesn’t show through. Write with a pen gently and it won’t show through. Highly recommend.

I have not gotten myself a new Bible in decades and had no idea how beautiful they could be now. I love the artwork, spacing to take notes, and the color of this Bible. I also am enjoying this translation which I haven’t had before. I have written with Pilot pens and highlighted with Bible highlighters (from Amazon) and it hasn’t bled through the pages. I appreciate the introductions at the beginning of the chapters and I’m looking forward to reading the whole Bible while doing the Bible Recap!

It’s great quality for someone who is artistic in the sense of.. large margins for notetaking! it’s got great space to annotate! it’s very easy to read and understandable for somebody. Who’s new to scripture! It’s got maps and timelines to help guide you through the process of the story! amazing art in between the sections! and a great table of contents! The back even has a weights and measurements section that helps you to understand words for measurements that are a bit older..! they have a great index that helps if you need something for specific subject! i’m new to Christianity and this Bible is great!

I love this Bible. I’m usually skeptical about ordering books from Amazon because they always arrive damaged with scuffs or dents, I think this seller accounted for that because the Bible has its own sleeve and the whole thing comes enveloped in a plastic protective covering inside the Amazon box. Getting into the content, I love that there’s maps, timelines, and short synopses of each book in the Bible. The only gripe that I have is that the pages are extremely thin, so you can accidentally tear or bend the pages and I’m hesitant to use any darker highlighter colors or write in it with my ink pen. I was excited to utilize the large margins for note-taking but with the thin pages, I’m not sure I will. Overall, it’s a great bible for women and I’m happy I purchased it PLUS it was on sale.
