Great backdrop for movie projector
Used this as a giant movie screen for outdoor movie night! Good weight for still nights. Ended up adding pvc pipe across the bottom for the windy Midwest nights. Durable, and if we don't bring it in immediately and it rains the material dries the next day and then we roll it up for storage.

I bought this for a couch cover
I have 2 very large dogs that like playing and sleeping on the couch. I needed a heavy duty couch cover that could withstand their abuse and protect the couch. I originally bought a heavier canvas but it doesn't feel great. It's kinda stiff. The lighter canvas works great though. It looks ok and stays in place for a few days. Then I have to readjust it. It washes well, it's reasonably priced, and my girls haven't been able to put holes in it yet.

Bought 3 of them
I used these to make a canvas cover for my canopy for renaissance fairs. I bleached one and dyed the other two royal blue with Rit dye. The one I bleached turned white beautifully, I had it submerged for about an hour, moving the fabric every 15 minutes. I dyed one at a time in my washing machine following the exact instructions from Rits website and they turned out fantastic! The fabric did shrink though. I bought 9x12 and they shrunk to 8x11, hang dried them. There were some loose strings, but I just took them off, they didn't affect the stitching in any way. The canvas also doesnt unravel as you cut it, only if you pull on it. Definitely saved me a lot of money, high quality fabric.

Very tough fabric.
While this fabric may be heavy for a drop cloth, I was looking for a cheap source of heave fabric to use to repair a dog bed. This canvas is tough, I doubt that my chewing monster will make it through this. First he chews up the zipper, then manages to open the side. Then he chews the light weight fabric containing the filling. Then he pulls out the filler and makes a mess......hopefully this heavy fabric will foil his attack.

Good purchase
These worked quite well for me. I used them to cover carpet in a nice conference center.

Great choice for making drapes
This is some heavy fabric and that’s what I wanted to make some basic drapes for a reasonable price. There’s no seams in the four packages of 9x12 size I ordered. They aren’t all exactly the same size, but my need was for making 11 foot long drapes so the various sizes didn’t matter. If I ever make these drapes again, I’d opt for the next lower weight. These are big and heavy and were not easy to wash and dry due to size and weight. I imagine the lower weighted option would have made sewing them a bit easier. Live and learn… but for canvas drop cloth overall, these are an excellent choice!

Great Fabric for Drapes
I've used the 10 oz. fabric for other projects (drapes & upholstery), but I need to make drapes for a really long rod and I think the 10 oz. will be too heavy for the rod to support. As a result, I got the 8 oz. fabric this time and used it for the patio door in the same area (see picture).Fabric Weight: After washing, the 10 oz. fabric feels like Levi jeans, while the 8 oz. fabric feels more like a flannel short. The 8 oz. is a nice weight for drapes, and provides more filtered light than the 10oz fabric does. While it's nice for drapes (and maybe slipcovers for dining room chairs), I think it's probably too lightweight to use for upholstery.Fabric Drape: The drape for the 8 oz. is much more fluid than the 10 oz., with the exception of the double-fold hems I put in (which is to be expected).Seams: I have ordered this brand drop cloth several times and have never received one with seams breaking the piece. The ends are hemmed and the sides are the fabric selvages.Color: Out of the package, the color is a nice oatmeal. Although I didn't dye these particular cloths, I have dyed other ones which worked very well because they're a natural cotton fabric.Price: This is infinitely cheaper than purchasing the same amount from a fabric store.Size: I carefully measured the fabric out of the package and after washing with hot water and drying on a low setting. Unfortunately I managed to lose the piece of paper where I wrote it down. Needless to say, being cotton it shrank quite a bit. Will post an update if I manage to find it.29-Jul-2021: I was cutting the fabric for drapes, and just found a snag (see picture) on one side. I've purchased 5 (I think) of these cloths, and this is the first time I've seen anything like this. There is a chance that it happened when I washed it, I don't really know, but I'd advise checking both side of the entire drop cloth before proceeding. I'm just going to make sure that it's on the "wrong side" (not a big deal). I also may cut it & seal it with a little drop of 'fray check' - undecided

Consistent quality fabric
I use the drop cloth as material for projects, but would have no qualms in using it for painting too. The tight weave and quality of the fabric makes it a good choice for either. This is my second time purchasing Tuff Boy products and both times I received the same quality items. Well worth the money
