This is ridiculous this chain is the cheapest thing I ever seen just received it today came home to take a shower took it off and it broke immediately. I have purchased a few of these from them and they are just selling crap. My $5 chain is better quality then this one i will never purchase another again.

As a laser engraver, I work with a lot of jewelry, ranging from inexpensive to pricey. In my professional opinion, this "cheap" necklace is of decent quality. The plating is good and has a pleasing color. However, upon close inspection using my microscope, it is evident that the black stone is not actually onyx. Instead, it appears to be some sort of epoxy resin. Although it may still look good for the price point, I wouldn't expect it to be as durable as a natural onyx stone.
