Better than Polymeric Sand
I used Polymeric Stone Dust to re-grout the joints on a 20 year-old patio. At first I tried a small section using polymeric sand, but found it lacking in stability for the wider joints. I imagine polymeric sand is great when using pavers that have uniform 1/8 to 1/4 inch gap. I found the polymeric stone dust more robust and am pleased with the result. I used a screw driver to push the dust into all the hidden "caves" and to make sure there were no air pockets. I used a tamper (4 or 5 bangs on each stone) for insurance. The watering step was completed at about 8AM in 85 degree weather. An unforecasted squall hit at 4PM and I was worried that the stone dust would wash out. Nope! The dust had already "set" and no damage was done.

Better Than Expected
I have a somewhat large flagstone patio that’s a few years old. The landscaper used crushed rock and topped with polymeric stone (for use with pavers) in the gaps and it was beginning to peel up. I wanted something more durable so did some research and came across this product. I scooped out all old material about 2” down and replaced with gator dust. Followed the directions exactly as described, had to be honest, was skeptical skeptical as it looked like wet sand when done. The next morning I was quite surprised as it was as solid as concrete. Very happy with how it turned out, appears to be a much more durable surface than any other alternative I’ve I researched. Pricey, but worth it.

This product works!
Used to fill 1-2 inch gaps in a walkway in my garden. I had two pieces of cement that actually had broken away, used cement adhesive, let that dry, then proceeded to fill in with the dust. Works great, and blends in wonderfully. I really didn’t need much and kinda wish I could have purchased less, but, that said, it’s a great product…no fake seams, blends great. True test will be a Michigan winter, but the product is forgiving and if something cracks or separates I will just refill those spots. Great product! Go for it!

The packing fault
This product looks good. I used it to fill in the cracks of my backyard stone patio. However, the bag I received had a hole on it and some spilt out.

Highly recommended for large gaps.
Used with flagstone around my firepit. Turned out great, IMO. Very forgiving stuff.

Rockier than pictured, no easy return
The batch I got was rockier than the images I have seen of people's application results, which resulted in a subpar bond between my wide joints. Unfortunately returns are not free, and this is one heavy bag. You have to hull it to a post office and pay for the return. No thanks, I guess I'm stuck with one expensive lemon...

Horrible customer service
Ordered 2 bags of this for our patio. The seller refused to reimburse us for the shipment cost and was impossible to get a hold of. There is better product out there!
