Upon opening the packaging for this product, I found a very nice business card. And on the back of it, in a nice concise format it indicated that we customers' can call this number for questions, how to apply, any concerns. I was so impressed that I showed it to my husband remarking "this is the very first I have seen a company do something like this. Its so sweet and reassuring". I had a muscle injury to my left high which caused a pain lever of 3 - 8. I went 2 weeks with doctor visits, including chiropractor and acupuncture. Since we had a trip planned for this coming Sunday to spend time at a cabin in North Conway, I adhered to the doctor's recommendations. It seemed that many things triggered muscle spasms in my thigh, including my left groin, front of thigh and left posterior thigh. Usually one place at a time, sometimes two places at a time. Due to the fact that we really wanted to go now (cabin was booked for the next 5 weeks), I did some on line research and discovered this brace. Perfect idea!! Now I was having a moderate throb even if I walked across a normal size room just twice!! But, I discovered that if I pushed a bit below my hip joint at that side, I didn't experience any pain. Then the only discomfort is that I was walking leaning forward which wouldn't be good for any length of time. I thought that the reviews I had read on Amazon would be a perfect fit for my situation. My productivity had diminished significantly and it took me a very long time to get each task done as I needed to either apply a cold pack alternating with a hot pack. After the first four days of using only cold (very effective) it was then better to alternate the two. I have worn this brace for two days now and this brace I have benefited from using this brace. I wanted to have another option for when we leave for North Conway for comfort. Having this groin support will allow me to walk down to the the river with our chairs to enjoy the last of summer. And, I don't have to worry about feeling up to going out to dinner. When we planned this trip we also planned to eat out for breakfast and supper daily. This is the first time that I haven't planned meals ahead of time, prepped and packed them for the trip. We both had had a super busy summer and our goal was to have a relaxing mini vacation for 4 days. So for me, this product gives me both physical and emotional support. The 'emotional' meaning that if we chose to do something other than plan to read, games, and listen to the stream, I have a product that will allow me to to a little bit of walking without worrying about

Got this for hubby. He says it's helping. For work he spends long hours driving and this definitely helps him to not be in so much pain. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it does get hot/ itchy when he wears it for long period of time.

I had an inflamed hip bursa with extra fluid and groin injury from a fall. This product was perfect for this injury and recovery. I'm a male, 5'-10" and about 155 pounds on the slender side and the fit was great. I really needed a wide, gentle compression of the area around the hip joint. This product worked. Velcro and materials good quality. It stays in place. The only caution I would have would be for people less than say 5'-6" tall. This is because the waist band is nice and wide for me but may be slightly too wide/tall for shorter people and may rest against the ribs especially when sitting. If that was a problem I would say trim the top and still use it, it is that good and effective. These are minor problems compared to the excellent support and comfort of this product. Highly recommend this product.

I bought this for my daughter, she suffers from Sciatica. The hip part of it works really well but she said the thigh part was too snug and made it uncomfortable to walk. The material is good and she can wear it for long periods and has helped her stay active. Wish the size was bigger as she has large hips and thighs and it barely closes, she’s a size 14/16. All in all still a good product. Next time I’ll buy just the waist belt.

After a total hip replacement, that went very well, I started having a lot of pain from a bad knee (replacement coming) that made my hip hurt also. The muscles and tendons from the knee to the hip were really bothering me a lot (even had to go back to a walker). I have been wearing this brace for about a week now and it has reduced the pain quite a bit. It wraps around my thigh tightly and close enough to the hip to reduce pain significantly. The part that goes around the abdomen keeps it in place and helps support my back. The flap that connects the two does support my hip area just enough to help with pain. The material is comfortable to wear (even under jeans) and it seems well made. l wish I would have had it right after surgery. I had a posterior replacement so I was under restrictions for 6 weeks. This would have made my recovery much easier. I can walk without my walker and even wear it while using my rowing machine.

I already own another Elastic Hip Stabilizer and wanted a spare. Initially I felt a little more stabilization around my pelvis when I first put it on, the top acted more like a belt, similar to a back support. But the covering around the hip going to the thigh added zero support, it's really just a joining of two pieces of material together. Also while wearing this, it slips down and you're going to be trying to pull it up time and time again. It's also not that comfortable, the velcro requires exact positioning, otherwise it's going to poke you, and the thigh straps are designed to go to the edge, so you'll end up almost crossing them to avoid it hitting skin. So Pro: - This is ok for side pelvic support - Fits a large waist Cons: - Does not provide hip support e.g. where your hip ball & socket are front / back - Tends to slip down over time, rather than cling to body - Velcro straps and positioning aren't that well thought out for comfort (or putting if you have limited movement) So for my needs, hip dysplasia or anyone getting hip replacements this isn't for you.

Loving this product and has helped stabilize my hips and reduce piriformis pain.

This item is exactly as advertised. I am dealing with severe hip pain, especially when walking, and the brace helps to maintain alignment and reduce pain. Happy with my purchase.

I was initially a bit skeptical, but its provided me with the relief I needed. I used it couple of hours first thing in the morning (when my pain was the worst) and then a couple of hours in the early evening and its made a huge difference. I find it easy to put on and the size works as well (I'm 5'4" medium build). I'm a hiker and I think it is speeding up recovery as provides that needed support.
