SeaKlear 90-Day Algae Prevention & Remover … (2 Quart)

Had a problem controlling algae in our 24000 gallon in ground pool last year and the earlier part of this season . We are very good maintaining our pool with proper chemical balance and cleaning , however , I had algae spots every five days or so . I used this product over 6 weeks ago and have had not one sign of algae at all . Not one bit of scrubbing needed and just continuing with regular sanitizing and vacuuming. I am still yet to see about the three month guarantee of no algae. As of now my rating is a 5 . I got the two bottle deal and plan on using the second one in early September before closing . So Far - AWESOME STUFF . I am saving alot of money by not using the expensive standard anti algae treatments , as they are ineffective .If you know how to maintain your pool , then go with this !!!!!!2020 Update - In 2019 I used 1 bottle in May and one more in August . Results were zero issues , not even one spot of algae . We just opened and my 2 bottles for this season are on the way . We look forward to another low maintainence enjoyable season .Recommendation to the negative reviewers - Get your water tested at a reputable pool store that provides free testing . If you have algae , ask for them to test for phosphates and nitrates . They normally do not test for these , so you must ask . If they are present at high levels, chances are you will continue to have algae issues , as algae feeds off these contaminants that come from natural organics and fertilizers from your lawn .My review stands at a 5 !!!

These bottles work great. I put the chemicals in about 30 days ago and there a has been no sign of algae, even during 110 degree weather. I was initially disappointed because the first two bottles were packaged poorly and one of them broke during transportation, spilling most of the contents. The customer support was great and they offered to send me new bottles or give me a refund. I elected to have new bottles sent which were shipped securely and arrived safely in tact.After making sure my pool was balanced with acid and chlorine, I added the bottles. I brushed the pool and let our vacuum do the rest. After 30 days I have not had to battle algae at all in my pool. Usually there are certain spots in the pool where the algae just wants to grow. Not this year.I will continue to use this product every summer to keep the algae away

I’ve used Sea Klear for about 10 years and it’s never disappointed. Follow the instructions and you’ll never ha another Algae problem.

I like this algaecide for my pool however it does not last 90 days. I live in KY and it gets very warm here in the summer. 90 degrees is not uncommon. This algaecide lasts about 45 days for me.

In my opinion this stuff is nothing short of PHENOMENAL. I have owned and self maintained pools for some 30+ years in Phoenix and South Florida, both infamous for pool algae growth due to high water temperatures. I battled conditions from mild to overnight "frog pond green", even with constant chlorine addition, shock treatment, expensive phosphate control products & filter cleaning. I found this stuff on Amazon somewhat by accident when ordering some other pool chemicals and decided to give it a swing. This is the best money I have ever spent !!! The initial treatment required filter cleaning almost daily for a few days while it did it's job. Since then, my pool remains crystal clear. chlorine consumption is way down & filter cleaning limited to maybe once every three weeks before filter pressure comes off of the baseline. Sea Clear has eliminated tons of frustration, sweat & "blue language". I would highly recommend it to all pool owners. (BTW my granddaughter has blond hair & it has not turned green after many visits to "Pops Pond")Product is not sold in my local pool supply store - Hmm - I wonder why!

You put it in your pool and it takes care of what you need it to take care of!!

I used two bottles of this within 2 weeks of each other and still had green algae. Along with that I chlorinated. I still had to use shock and clarifier to get water clear. I hoped the SeaKlear would keep it that way even continuing to add chlorine, but it did not. I still had to add more shock after a couple weeks. It has been raining quite a lot but still I hoped it would work better since I had used even greater concentration than required as per instructions.

I use this exclusively!
