Faulty
Got this for my kid as a gift from Amazon. It says batteries not included. It came with batteries but were rusted inside and when I put new batteries in it, the batteries got very hot to a point you could have not touched them. It was clear that this idem was sent back by someone else. Because it was faulty and they sent it back out. I did reorder as my son wanted one. Hopefully it will be ok. I also had to pay more for a new one.

Lots of fun but quality not great
First the good stuff, put on a door at the end of a narrow corridor it's a tin of fun trying to sneak past, the detection is very sensitive making it a great detector and trying to guess somes code is a lot of fun....however within two weeks one of the lights stopped working and the push in bits that pop out when you're detected don't always do what they should, with a better build quality this would be amazing

Incredibly annoying
My 6 year old son bought this with his pocket money - he seems to love it. It is the most irritating thing I have ever come across - it is loud, you have a matter of seconds to put the code in before it starts shouting 'intruder' at you, the keys press twice randomly so even when you type the correct code in it goes off, it is currently shouting 'intruder' constantly even though there isn't a single living thing on the same floor as it! I would happily send it back, I can't believe this is how it is meant to act but my son won't hear of it. Obviously it has to be fully turned off at night otherwise it would keep the whole house awake - and then you have to reset the code every morning, my son was in tears just now resetting it due to the 'sticky' keys not setting the code he wanted. We've had it a couple of days and I already want it to go away.Edit: I spoke to the manufacturer who agreed that it sounded like we had a faulty one. Returned to/replaced by Amazon and the current one is much better - still annoying but in the way it is probably meant to be so have adjusted my rating.

Terrible
Possibly a broken sensor but since coming out of the box and onto the door it has not stopped alarming. Very disappointing.

Fun but loud!
This was a birthday gift my son specifically requested because he already had items from the collection. It attached easily to a door and it’s easy to set a code. My son was very happy with it - however, parents be warned, it is LOUD! It has startled me several times when I’ve forgotten about it and walked past it. Of course the kids don’t see that as a problem! It is motion censored. Fun toy just be prepared for the noise!
