These are so cool! I bought a bunch for Christmas presents for my nephews all ages 7-18 and all ages loved it! My 9 year old was able to navigate most of the process himself too! It does mostly require some adult help to ensure the wires are connected properly.

Good kit for 5 year old. Only caution: diligent adult supervision needed. It can be assembled in correctly without recognition until last pieces.

****Doesn't include a screwdriver**** but it was a lot of fun once we found the tool needed! My adult son and I did this just for kicks during a family craft day. It was fun to build and we got to reminisce about his childhood. I think this is a great toy for anyone that has an interest in how things work or just enjoys puzzle crafts. Would recommend.
