i-Blason Cosmo Series for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Case with Pen Holder (2022), Stylish Protective Bumper Fold 4 Case with Built-in Screen Protector (Marble)

So this is the fourth different case I have tried for this phone so I waited a bit before writing my review this time. The previous two I liked initially but they broke, so I wanted to see the durability of this one first. First off, it fits and looks amazing. The front part that is gold is a smooth plastic with a built in screen protector, and a decretive raised bezel. The back part is a sturdy silicone material. The design is beautiful. The hinge protector/pen holder is the same color and material as the front. Everything functions as expected and the case has withstood a few drops with no damage to the case or phone. Some have complained about the hinge cover staying open when you close the phone. Yes it does, but I view that as a benefit rather than a defect because if you are using your pen, you will need to put it away, so to have the flap stay open so you can put the pen away and then close it, is good. My previous cases all hinged on the ends and that is what always broke off when it fell. This one hinges on the back and is super strong and durable. There is a nice secure snap when you open and close it, so it won't open or close on it's own. It does cause the phone to sit on a slight lean but I don't mind that at all because it is still stable and doesn't wobble. Previous cases that only had the camera cover would be raised on that one corner causing the phone to tilt back and forth when on a flat surface. The inside of the pen holder is pretty and faceted. UPDATE--I have had this case for 5 months now. I have dropped it several times with no breakage of the case or phone. The only damage I have noticed is slight scuffing where the gold is rubbing off, but I consider that normal wear and tear. Every case will show wear because of the daily beatings that they take. I also get tons of compliments on it.

Gorgeous case! Stylish. If you like style and glam, well this is your case. I am here for it! Very sturdy has a little weight to it. It seems to be very durable. It does however, make the phone bulky, it will not fit easily in a small purse. The S pen will fit nicely in the slot which is not included. It's a bit pricey for not having a kick stand. Overall, I am satisfied. My mother bought one also. She loves hers as well.

I have had this case for about 3 months and all ready the gold is peeling off around the front, on the pen holder, and the hooks on the back. Otherwise the pattern on the back still looks great and this does protect the phone adequately. Before purchasing this purple pattern I had clear, which looked good way longer. The problem with the clear one was it started turning yellowish. I use my phone an average amount of time throughout the day and I am very careful of where I put it. I am unhappy about the gold coming off. Update 1/18/24. I was contacted by a company representative that read my review. They sent me a replacement case which shows great customer service! Hope this one lasts longer.

When the Z Fold 2 came out, I was sold. After several years of having the Fold 2, it was getting time to upgrade. I loved everything the 2 had to offer and did some research on the Fold 4 before making the purchase. As expensive as the phone is, I wanted something durable that would protect it should I do anything silly [like drop it]. My biggest complaint with my Fold 2 was that my old case did NOT protect the front screen [when the fold is folded in half]. My Fold 2's screen was covered in small scratches from being within my pocket or my purse. I wanted to try to find something that would offer protection on that front screen for when it is being stored in a pocket or a purse. This case fit that bill. That being said, although the front screen protector is plastic I can rest assured that it does in fact protect the screen from nicks and dings. It reacts perfectly with my touch, which was another thing I was worried about. I've not had any problems with dealing with phone calls or interacting with my phone while it is folded in half. When it came to installation, this case was a literal breeze to put on. I didn't have to feel like I was about ready to break my phone trying to get the case on and it went on in a matter of a few minutes [if that]. It slide on just perfectly. One of the biggest negatives I see on some reviews is that the holes for the different ports do not line up. If you look closely, you can see the cut-outs for the ports [such as the charging port] are not PERFECTLY centered, but I can fit my charger into the port with no problems. They are by no means perfect, but they get the job done. I do wish the case came with a piece to close over the charging port to protect it from debris while not in use, but it wasn't a huge deal breaker for me. Once the case was on my phone, it's never felt loose or felt like it would come off without you trying to actually remove it from your phone. When I first bought my phone, I had bought an Otter Box case for it. That case was also 2 pieces, but the piece that sat around the edges of the front panel of the phone was ALWAYS falling off and getting lost in my purse or around the house. I was glad I had this one ordered and now my $50 Otter Box case is sitting on a shelf never to be used again. The spine of the case is a bit awkward. While my Fold 2 had a flatter piece against the actual fold of the phone, the spine on this case is a bit bulkier and rightfully so. I ordered a pen for my phone and knew that without a set place to put it when not in use I would lose it. The spine on the case has to be opened when the phone is folded in half, but that's not a big deal to pop open the spine and then open the phone. I always know where my pen is, and the spine has a hole to see if the pen is inside it or not. The pen I have is beige, so it doesn't match the case's colors exactly but is easy to tell if it's in the case or not. The tip of the pen has a nice little nesting place for it so I know the tip is protected while it is being stored. The spine does make the phone hard to stand up against things if you don't want to hold it. I used to lay in bed with my Fold 2 propped on a pillow to watch Netflix. I can't do that with this case on my Fold 4 because the case slides right down. The other part I wanted to address is there are a lot of comments about people complaining about how 'bulky' the case is. First of all...if you don't want a bulky case then you shouldn't be buying a phone that is basically a small tablet. Bigger phones require bigger cases. Secondly, we all know how expensive the Fold 4 can be. If you aren't willing to spend a little bit to protect that $2,000 investment of a phone then you should be looking at a smaller phone to begin with. The Fold 4 is not meant to be a small phone. Does the case add bulk to the phone? Yes - but any case will add some bulk to a phone. My Fold 2 also had a case on it, and I honestly can't tell the difference of the weight between my Fold 2 I had and my Fold 4. The phone has a decent weight to it without a case on it. It's by no means a flimsy case that will fall out of your hands easily. I was afraid with this case I would need some sort of ring or pop socket on the back for when I have it open to hold it. After receiving the case, I have found that the spine is comfortable to hold the phone with. My finger tips are usually against the spine as I hold my phone and I've never been afraid of dropping my phone, even while using it while walking . My old case had an odd placement on the back for the pop socket because of me wanting to use it when it was folded and opened. I think this case would be better suited for a pop socket or a ring on the back if you so choose, but the spine may off set the placement of that a little so you can ensure the spine sits correctly against the back of the phone while it is opened. Overall, I'm really pleased with how well my case has been working. I feel confident in it protecting my phone. Cases anymore aren't cheap and you really do get what you pay for. If I happen to drop my phone and break a $50 case but my $2,000 phone is protected I think the $50 on the case was money well spent. **Side Note: THE CASE DOES NOT COME WITH A PEN! I love this case! If you are on the fence about getting it. Just get it and you will love it. I almost didn't get it after reading some of the reviews about the holes to the charging ports not lining up. I am glad I put my trust into this company as I have never had issues with its cases before. Well I know was these people were doing wrong. The are not sliding the case over all the way during installation. 🙄 Even a 2 year old could figure that out immediately. So if your holes are not lining up this is why. Just make sure each piece is pushed over all the way. This care has never fallen off and iI have dropped it quite a bit. Almost every day I drop it..lol I do recommend I popsockets or so sort of grip to go with it as this phone in general it thick but this is coming from a popsocket girl that doesn't care about wireless charging. I loved this case so much, I got the clear one too. They are both gorgeous. I get sooooo many compliments on this case. If you are on the fence just get it. I love that it has a built in screen protector too.

Definitely save yourself the money, and skip this case entirely. It is very cute, I'll give you that. HOWEVER-- after ONE drop, the entire corner that can hold the S pen broke off, leaving the S pen exposed, and a very sharp corner that has ripped pocket threads, and scratched my skin. Case is made of flimsy, crappy plastic, and does not protect the phone worth a damn. Thr gold paint also scratches off very easily, showing the true quality of the cheap plastic. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

This is my 2nd i Blason phone case for my Z fold 4 . With these phones being so expensive you can't be cheap on the case. I took a chance on my 1st purchase & never regretted it. You do have to get use to your phone being so much bigger with the case on but after a while you don't even notice. As much as you are careful accidents do happen & you drop the phone. This case took the brunt of it & my phone was never damaged. I also like how it keeps your stylis pen secure. The only reason why I bought the replacement case is the front part of the original case was showing its wear & tear but after almost 2 yrs I couldn't complain. My only complaint is you can't use a wireless charger without taking the case off so I just charge the old fashioned way.

So I absolutely loved the color of this case and did a great job protecting my phone. I've had the case for 1 year now and it finally died. The pictures attached are after a year of use Several things to know: 1.if you drop the phone on the hinge the case can chip or crack- however your phone won't be damaged. I've dropped the phone on multiple occasions and the top of the hinge protector did break at one point however the case was still usable and still protected my phone on future drops. 2. There is a small overlap on the left side of the screen from the case. This can be a minor annoyance when using the phone in landscape mode. However you can turn your phone around to minimize the impact on accessing top menus which is what I did. 3. Your front screen will get dirty. Dust and debris can and will find their way through the camera hole. 4. The gold coloring around the front of the case and the hinge did rub off in places. I think parts of it started rubbing off after 3-4 months of use. Overall and most importantly though this case DID protect my phone. I've had zero cracks or scratches while using this case. As you can see from the pictures my poor phone has been through a lot however my phone still looks brand new
