Desiring God's Own Heart: 1 & 2 Samuel & 1 Chronicles (The New Inductive Study Series)

As expected from Precept, an excellent study based on Scripture, using the Inductive method that enables the reader to understand and apply what the passages actually say. Focusing on the actions and thoughts of the people in the passages, the study examines the impact of making choices and following after God. I am working through this with another person, using this study in a mentoring process.

Not helpful. Didn’t break things down to smaller chunks was huge chunks of chapter and had you observe and look for things and didn’t have any specific questions to help you dig future into the scriptures.

Get this book, you will not regret it. This opens up your understanding of the Bible.

Book received earlier than originally promised. This will be used as a Study Book for discussion with my Ladies Bible Study group.

This book was a requirement for a seminary class I'm taking as part of a way to instruct us on how to study these particular books of the Bible. The authors were very detailed when they wrote this book and it has been very helpful in understanding timelines in I and II Samuel. I recommend this book to anyone wanting help in outlining and studying more deeply the books of I and II Samuel.Min. Gary W. Lee
