Was a little shocked at pricing when I went to find one of these solutions after seeing them online. After using a ton of different suction style, magnetic style and bean bag style cell phone holders and none of them being 100% stable, I decided rather than spending another $40-$50 on another one, to bite the bullet and buy one of these as a good foundation to finally have something sturdy. Put it in a 2021 Chevy 2500 so I had the harder of the two installs but even it wasn't bad at all. Removed the rubber covering over the cutout, removed the bolt in the skinny section closer to the windshield and used the included pry tool to pop the four clips built into the tray. Marked the holes for drilling after removing from the truck, not before as the instructions suggested. Easier that way with the windshield blocking my view and ability to get a perpendicular mark. Drilled the holes, mounted the bottom half of the mount to the tray. Mounted the included cell phone holder on one side and a RAM cell phone holder on the left side closest to the driver. I use the RAM mount on my boat and it's the best I've come across. Popped the tray back in the truck. Banging the clips back in their female slots was pretty easy once I switched to using the butt of a screwdriver to bang the inside of the tray. Mounted the top half of the mount back on the bottom half and adjusted the cell phone holders to the angles I wanted them. Very nice, sturdy and secure. Have room to mount the GoPro mount on the windshield side of the mount to act as a dash cam if I had the need. Very pleased with the product, quality of the parts is top notch, ease of installation and confidence in it being there for good is very high. Highly recommend as a final solution if your tired of searching for a cell phone holder or mounting solution in your vehicle.

It was love at first sight. I bought a new truck 2yrs ago, I left all my accessories in it. Here I am 2yrs later and I was tired of my phone sliding around or falling into floorboard. I dont drive my Chevy all that often but when I do, I have kids screaming, GPS is always required, and doing music. When I saw this, I knew I had to have it. It arrived, took me all of probably 2min to make a plan and 8min to execute. Its a beast, holds phone tight and secure, looks cool, can add on to it with their accessories. Only Dislike- I get that its not steel, but, steel would have let my magnetized flashlight and other items have a secure spot as well. I happened to have a few extra spare mag/pistol magnets and a mass amount of nuts and bolts so, I mounted strong magnets on the underside. I now can put my flashlight, money clip, knife, dip can, other metallic objects up there. I get they want to sell their accessories to mount, but all I needed was the phone mount aspect, I didnt want to lose where I threw all the above EDC type stuff.

I've had other bulletpoint mounts in my Jeep, and this one is of the same high quality. Carbon fiber always makes thing work better. Looks great in my new Chevy.

Bit the ‘bullet’ and glad I did. I drive a ‘20 Silverado. I’ve tried all kinds of different mounts just for my iPhone 16 MAX. This is super solid and every time I get into the truck, I’m stoked to hook my phone up. The magnet is tough enough to hold my big phone w/ otterbox case. It looks great too. Fits perfectly. I am very happy with it.

Finally! A phone mount that actually WORKS! It’s a bit pricey however I’m a firm believer that you pay for quality.

1. Installation is easy and depending on your truck model, very easy. 2. If you have the dash piece that comes out (usually the Silverado/Sierra 1500 version) then do yourself the favor of taking it out and installing this mount into it first because you'll save any chance of scarring or cracking your windshield. 3. It is SOLID and the arms hold the phone without any bounce or vibration at all. Just a rock. 4. Mine came without the double sided sticky tape on the bottom, not sure if that was an oversight or they don't use it anymore, but if you have it, mark the holes for drilling, drill them, pull off the sticky backing and put the mount int the dash piece, then bolt it in place. 4. I used a power ratchet to remove the bolt and put it back in so it's lower profile than a drill driver. 5. Put the top piece of the mount in place and make sure you place the ball where you want it first. 6. put it back in the dash and you're done. 7. Best mount ever for Silverado.
