4 Weeks of growth! 😳 🤩🥳
I have done my own nails for about 13 years now. I’ve always loved the soak off Gelish type gel polishes but getting any growth was hard because I’d have eventual chips & whatnot & wound have to remove it. Gel polish even with its many layers was never strong enough for my super bendy nails! Finding time to do them every 2+ weeks was hard with 3 school aged kids & a husband that is gone on work trips. I have had good success in the past with using soak off polish & dip powders but got tired of using an electric file to change the colors & was ruing my nail beds with the efile.I’ve searched for primers, bonders, you name it to get my gel polish to stay longer. After seeing the Gelish ProBond acid free nail primer I was very excited. Then I did some research & read on the Gelish site & others that it was to be used with acrylic/dip nails. Bummed, I decided to buy it anyway & hope it wasn’t a usual waste of money to get my polish to last longer & possibly a little growth.** The pictures I posted are my New Years nails I did prior to NYE, around Dec. 30/31st & the picture was taken today on Jan 28th. So about 4 weeks growth you can see, which 100% never happens for me! My nails have never been THIS LONG, ever. **Here is what I do:1. I did my nail prep as usual, starting with clean natural nails (all previous gel taken off), cuticles pushed back etc. I always, even with regular nail polish, wipe the nail beds down with rubbing alcohol really good making sure to get into all the sides. You can use a nail dehydrator after that too, but the rubbing alcohol has been enough to dehydrate my nails of all oils.2. Next, applied ProBond like a regular polish, not too thick but also not super thin. No need to cure it.3. Next, I started using either Gelish Brush-On Builder OR Beetles Builder Gel (Builder In A Bottle: or BIAB) both are a clear thick hard gel excellent for nail growth if you have bendy nails like me. I do 2-3 coats of this on my nails (bottles do better if warmed up in your pocket or placed in hot water in a bowl prior to applying to nails).4. After fully curing BIAB gel you can wipe with rubbing alcohol to get tackiness off. File any bumps/edges as needed.5. Next, apply your soak off gel polish colors you wish & as you normally would with 2-3 coats & your top coat. I used to use the Gelish top coat that needs the tackiness wiped off after the final UV/LED light cure. Now, I use the Beetles no wipe top coat & I notice it’s shinier & for longer. Your done! Also, when I go to take off the gel polish I do not (!!) use acetone soaked pads with tinfoil over each nail. I buff off the shiny top coat with an electric file then use Mini Mani Moo Gel No More. It’s a little pricey compared to the gel removers on Amazon but the ones I’ve tried on Amazon are so strong they bend & misshape my nail which ends up hurting & leaving the nail all goofy looking. The Mini Mani Moo works very well after years of use. You can get it at Sally Beauty (small bottle) or on their website they have a large bottle (wait for a sale)! Works great also on regular nail polish & that glitter polish that takes ½ a bottle of acetone to come off 🤣Hope this review helps someone, sorry for the ridiculous length!

Definitely works!!
I was doing my nails and they were lasting like a week. After this product, they are lasting 3-4 weeks (without much water work…I use gloves to wash anything). Love it!!

Keeps gel polish on longer!
Use this base to add time to your gel mani! I’m 2 weeks out on yet another mani that I will be changing only because I’m ready for a new color. You just brush on, then start your polish. No need to use the UV light on this layer. Highly, highly recommend!!
