Quality product
Works well and it's ground finely making it mix easier. I really like the clean ingredients! Just pure psyllium husk without the added garbage that seems to be in all the other products in the stores.

Works every time to get that colon moving
I take a daily probiotic, but sometimes if I have too much dairy (or not enough veggies), I get a little backed up. I don’t like to take over-the-counter aids as they are filled with a bunch of stuff we don’t need. The active ingredient to get your colon moving is psyllium husk. Why take all the other stuff? I have been using this for six months when I need it and it works like a charm. I typically do 1 to 2 teaspoons mixed with very little water just because it gets gelatinous quite quickly and is a little unsettling on the palate. I shake it in a glass bottle as I have found it’s the quickest way to mix it up. I’m telling you by the next day, second day tops, you will get moving. And it won’t be explosive, it is a normal BM. It has never failed me. Not once.

Great
I love the fact that this is a very fine powder--not gritty--and mixes well. Makes my protein shake nice and thick but not gross!! No taste either and eery effective. Organic too!

Can cause constupation.
This is, probably, good product, but it is required to drink a lot of fluid. I think, that I did not drink enough and got a constupation and had to discontinue using it.

Really like this brand!
I have tried psyllium before but this one by far is my favorite one yet. It is a very fine powder and I have tried it several ways. In a large cup with water added....doing it this way made it very clumpy and hard to thoroughly dissolve and it stuck to the spoon. I did recently get a small smoothie type blender and this method works really well. I first add the water or whatever liquid you prefer and then add the powder and everything dissolves and blends perfectly. Be sure to drink it quickly as it becomes very thick and gelatinous. I am very happy with this purchase....I just ordered a second bag. I sometimes even add wheatgrass powder to this smoothie mixture....(definitely an acquired taste)

It's Psyllium Husk...
The "features" that these reviews want you to rate (ease to swallow, flavor, and blending power) are a little ridiculous for psyllium husk. It is a blah powder, which is why it is often flavored in applications like Metamucil, or taken in caplet form. If you look at the caplets, however, they are pretty expensive, which is why I first started looking at this product. The value is unparalleled. The resealable package itself will remind you to take each teaspoon of this product with 8oz of water. That is absolutely necessary...not only to get the product down, but because the husk absorbs moisture around it to create its bulking, fiber benefits. If you use a lot of this product without hydrating properly, you are at risk of constipating yourself. The powder also clumps very easily, so I have found that I take my servings of powder best with a scoop of my chocolate protein powder, mix together in a sport shaker, add water, then vigorously shake for about thirty seconds. The psyllium can stick like mad to the shaker bottle, so I found it is very useful to disperse the psyllium into the protein powder before adding water...otherwise you can have a mess. It also thickens as it stands, so you don't want to premix this. Mix it up, then immediately drink it all.As far as results, I have found that this product does help with bulking. Because it is more difficult to work with than other fiber powders, such as Benefiber, which uses wheat germ, and dissolves readily and without task, I use this product with my protein powder in the late morning, and Optifiber (basically Costco Benefiber) in the late afternoon.Of important note is that both of these fibers can have the potential of absorbing medication in your system, reducing their efficacy. I take a pill medication three times per day, so most cautionary guidance I have come across indicates that you shouldn't take this within two hours before or after taking your medication.Increasing fiber intake (even from food) can cause you to be gassy, so good guidance is to ramp up your intake gradually to allow your body and gut biome to adjust.

Best Product I've used
I use psyllium daily in my smoothie and this is the best I've had. The quality is great, it mixes well with my smoothie. and provides a good benefit to my health. My only complaint is that the company often runs out and I have to wait til it is in stock again. Highly recommend, especially if you need to take psyllium daily.

It is what it is -- psyllium -- only psyllium -- and that's what it ought to be.
It's psyllium, in a bag, to make alimentary operations more commodious. In all honesty, absent the operational necessity, I'd be happy to do without it. No reflection on this brand. The product and packaging are fine -- the bag opens and closes easily, the closure seal protects the powder from ambient moisture, and delivery was expeditious. Why buy it? Because it's psyllium-- just psyllium, unflavored, unsweetened, unadulterated. I probably wouldn't be purchasing it online if I could get it where I get my ibruprufen and toilet paper, but although there are miles of aisles of hydrophilic powders in the groceries and pharmacies, all of them are loaded with sugars or artificial sweeteners and various pseudo-fruity flavoring.Apparently the general public doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to confront its fiber directly, like grown ups. It's fiber, people! Mensch up! (Is there a way to say mensch up that doesn't imply gender?) It doesn't taste like anything, just put it in water, mix it, swallow it, and get on with your lives! Sheesh.
