This is the best curling iron I have ever owned. I was initially skeptical about purchasing it because I had seen pictures showing signs of wear over time.However, this product is amazing! My hair has never held a curl before, but this iron keeps my curls looking great ALL day long. I’m truly in love with it. Additionally, it straightens hair beautifully, which is perfect for taming my baby hairs.This is a fantastic product, and I normally don’t write reviews, but this one is worth every penny! The size is perfect, and the heat settings are excellent.My only complaint is that I sometimes accidentally hit the temperature and fan buttons while using it. Still, I absolutely LOVE this curling iron!

I have long hair that doesn't hold curl well. I initially bought this curler from a Facebook ad about 3 years ago. Prior to using this curler, I used a curler with a rotating wand, which I like, but after I curled my hair in the 2nd story bathroom, my hair was almost straight by the time I got to the bottom of the stairs on the first level. Since my previous curler was heat only, I used the highest heat to curl my hair in an effort to make the curl last a little longer. Because of this, I often had to have my hair trimmed to cut off the burned ends.After about 3 years of use, my other L'ange curler got a film on the curling plates from hair spray I use, and my hair was starting to stick to the plates. So, I decided to clean the plates. Since the film was kind of thick, I used a scrubby to get it off. After cleaning, and getting the curler wet, it didn't work. So, I had to go back to using the rotating curler until I got the order for this one. I was not a happy camper!!Surprisingly, my loved L'ange curler needed only to dry and the next day it was working again. So, now I have the new one as a backup. This is fine with me since I don't want to be without this curler again.What I love about this curler is:1) I don't have to use the highest heat to get a nice curl.2) Since the fan cools the curl as you go, the curl lasts much longer than with other heated curling irons.3) It doesn't take long to get used to using this curler for the curl you want. For me, I curl the top of my hair, which is shorter, in 3 sections. After I brush it out, I use the curler to modify the curl until it lays the way I want it to. I curl the longer hair in two sections pulled to the front to smooth the hair and get curl only at the ends.It can take a little practice to get the curl you want. Small sections will produce more curl for each section. Larger section are fine if you want smoothing of the hair and a little curl only at the ends. The trick is to turn the curler as you move it slowly down the hair strands and hold it a little longer at the ends for more curl. The longer you hold it, the more it curls.I hope this review was helpful for you.

The media could not be loaded. I love this straightener/curler! It heats up quickly, works really well on my hair, and gives me sleek, straight styles or nice curls with ease. The design is user-friendly, and the results are just what I was hoping for.The only thing I wish was different is how it clamps down automatically. I would prefer if I could control the pressure myself by squeezing the two sides together (not sure what they’re called, but the plates or arms of the straightener). It would give me a little more control while styling.Other than that, it’s a fantastic tool, and I’d still recommend it!

Works better than I even thought it would. I have naturally curly and thick hair. I need layers around my face and sometimes the stylist cuts it too short. That makes my hair flip up like Bozo the Clown. This tool is fast and easy to use and straightens that part of my hair so no more clown hair. I am considering also buying the brush dryer from this same company as another tool when I want to soften the curls on the long portions of my hair.

I do like how quickly this heats up, and the fan option when curling hair. What I hate is that it does not clamp down strong enough to straighten hair nicely. I have to use my other hand to close the straightener onto my hair, and even when I do, the hair does not straighten as nicely as other straighteners I’ve had. This works well to curl hair, but terribly to straighten.

Wow! I have never loved a flat/curling iron so much before. I love how smooth it glides through my hair. The clamp made the curling so much easier. My hair is soft and silky. The air vents help my hair set without having to hold it in place after curling, which means less time curling my hair. The outside is not hot unlike normal curling irons so I'm not afraid of burning myself. That's a super plus in my books. My hair is fine so i curled my hair at 360 F. I accidentally pushed the heat to 390 and it gave me more intense curls and it curled my hair even faster, but I'm going to stick with 360 when I'm not in a rush. The only con i can think of is that i wish it had a heat lock where i can lock the temperature in place because my fingers did accidentally increase the heat while curling but i think once i get used to the iron. I'll be able to avoid increasing the heat by accident. Love this le duo!

Let me start off by saying that I am NOT a girlie girl! The damage I can do to myself and those around me with a traditional curling iron is actually impressive. I had my hair dresser (attempt) to show me how to use a curling iron, and she was perplexed at how inept I was, even after she showed me step by step! And no matter how many videos I watched on curling my hair with a flat iron, I could never get it to work.Enter this straightener / curler duo... Holy miracle worker! I have naturally wavy hair, with tons of frizz at the roots. This tool allows me to smooth out the top, then curl the mids to ends, all using one tool! There was a tiny learning curve (literally watched one video, then was off and running), but OMG the curl it gives me is amazing! My curls lasted all evening, and into the next morning after sleeping on them.TLDR: If you have no idea how to work a normal curling iron (or flat iron for curling), this tool is for you!!!
