This cinammon is so good. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because it is grinder so finely that when I use it in coffee it turns into a paste.

Everything about this organically grown product is excellent. The heavenly scent & flavor, the packaging & care in shipping, the speed of delivery and quality is simply the best I have ever had. It also is famous for it's health benefits! It came with a hand carved mango wooden tablespoon and sample roll of the bark. Highly recommend it.

I have tried many Ceylon cinnamons, including an authentic Ceylon from the highly reputable company The Spice House. My favorite by far was purchased from Organic Wise several years ago (if it was actually Ceylon), but the reviews suggest that the quality has since changed. I have been trying to find a brand to replace it and have recently ordered many Ceylon cinnamons that were completely unusable despite good reviews. Anthony's, U.S. Wellness Naturals, and FGO were almost flavorless and had the scent and texture of sawdust with a hint of cinnamon, but the sellers graciously issued refunds when I contacted them through Amazon. Maybe the last few harvest years for Ceylon cinnamon have been bad? Ceylon Flavors was usable but had a milder flavor and coarser texture than I'd prefer.I decided to take a last gamble with this Pure Organic Ceylon cinnamon before giving up on all Ceylon cinnamons, even though I couldn't find out anything about the company. Well, it is definitely usable! It has the expected pale color and is very fragrant, very smoothly ground, and slightly sweet, with a bit of a bitter, peppery aftertaste that's not unpleasant. The cinnamon stick included to show authenticity does look like Ceylon and not Cassia and is the same color as the ground cinnamon. The wooden measuring spoon is cute, although it seems to be a little less than a tablespoon, so I wouldn't use it if accurate measurement is required. The package has a printed expiration date 1 year and 8 months away. The bag says that it was grown in Sri Lanka and packed in India with ISO 22000 certification and GMP compliance for food safety.

After reading about the benefits of cinnamon, I decided that I wanted to find a good cinnamon to use daily. I had never realized the difference that a good quality cinnamon could make. I have always enjoyed cinnamon, but this is, by far, the best I have ever had. I use it daily in my coffee, on my yogurt, etc. Even my daughter, who has never been a huge cinnamon fan, steals my yogurt because she loves the “new cinnamon “ flavor. I highly recommend!
