Use with care!!
I bought this root cutter to attach to the auger of my Rigid drain cleaner. The blade is attached to the auger attachment using a bolt and washers; this is a design flaw; the blade should be welded to the attachment; as soon as the blade hits the roots that you are trying to get rid of the blade gets stuck and it gets unscrewed from the auger. I saw this as a potential problem so that when I met resistance I withdrew the auger and, sure enough the blade was already loose.

Sturdy and Sharp
We were having issues with our bathroom drain. Snake it two to three times using my Ridgid K400, clears for 2 to 3 days. But after using this C cutter our drain cleared and all is good. Highly recommended

Good but.....
The cutters has worked well for me but I did get lucky. One time when I pulled the cute out of the drain to remove roots I noticed the nut had almost completing unscrewed itself. I removed the locking washer it came with and added a split type lock washer. Lock tite would also work well. Looks like everything else is good quality so I would recommend it.
