After I filled the water to the very top, the handle broke in two. We’ve used it daily for 1.5 years, so I expect some wear and tear… but for the handle to break in two like this is very shoddy quality…

If their claims are true then this is doing a great job for my health. My only complaint is that it prioritises style over function - the lid doesn't always open when you refill it, and it's a bit too easy to get the angle wrong and spray yourself. Also it's really tricky to get the torch out for recharging. I'm quite sceptical whether that actually does anything other than telling you when the filter needs replacing. No app for Android users is also a bit annoying.

It works perfectly

I have the Larq bottle and I like it very much. After spending quite a lot of money on Brita filters I decided to give this a go. To my surprise you still need to buy filters so if you're looking to save money this is not it. The biggest issue is the fact that when you pour yourself a glass of water it leaks and you end up with more water to the sides of your glass than in it. I wouldn't buy it again for half the price.

The filtering capabilities are great, but the Pitcher is expensive. I recommend using the premium filter and changing it every month.
