Good for small batches

This kit is all in one and contains good directions for safe use. I would reccomend that a user of the product have a small collection of laboratory glass, safety goggles, rubber apron, gloves, boots, baking soda, a fume hood or well ventilated clean workspace, and basic experience in a college laboratory.

If you're just getting into it or I have been into it but not very long this is a better solution to learn the process I advise you to mix as close to the required labeled amounts and make for sure you follow proper procedures for the chemicals that is in this kit because some things are slightly different when precipitating the gold. If your gold has a higher concentration or amount of other metals meaning plated jewelry this is not the solution for that you will need other chemicals to separate the leads and copper properly to get the most pure gold that you can from it I was curious if it would even hold up to or even work as good as using the proper chemicals meaning nitric acid. Where it does have a substitute for the nitric acid it does restrict or lessen the amount of gold you can purify this way and it's strength to dissolve gold is weaker.

I was rather isappointed with this purchase because I bought it to collect precious metals from e waste, that's not what it's for,and it doesn't really tall you that. Also the directions for use are confusing, I ended up with a 300 dollar pile of green foamy gunk, the directions could be so much easier to understand its use if they didn't jump all over the place and repeat themself, also a precise amount of ingredients that you will need for each ounce of gold not a range of possible amounts. Clear concise directions would be the most helpful

You're better off getting your info on how and what to do from youtube. If you think this is going to make the process simpler,You're just going to get more confused. You can get more chemicals for less money from your local hardware store. UPDATE REQUIRES THE ENTIRE CONTENTS TO PRECIPITATE 10 OUNCES OF GOLD SCRAP....NOT WORTH IT!FOLLOWED THE ANIMATED INSTRUCTIONS ON YOUTUBE.IT'S ANIMATED BECAUSE IT DOESN'T WORK IN REAL LIFE.A WASTE OF SCRAP GOLD AND MONEY ON THIS KIT.I ONLY WISH I HAD TAKEN PHOTOS OF THIS FIASCO!I MIGHT STILL OF THE MUCK IT CREATED.WISH I HAD OF THE BOIL OVERS. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!

The product would not get the gold into solution. Wasted countless hours of my time and money to come up empty handed.
