A cool and functional flashlight.
The media could not be loaded. This little flashlight Does everything they wrote in the description perfectly. It fits in everything with it's small size, your pocket your bag, and it can securely clip on your pants or shirts with it's side clip, it barely take any space and adds little to no weight, it nailed portability perfectly. The light quality is really decent considering it runs on 1 AA battery, and it does light up for a good distant. The light is easy on eyes but clearly light everything up for you.All and all this flashlight does it's job well, easy to carry, great lighting, Perfect for almost every occasion. After Hurricane Irma, First of all we would love to thank this little flashlight, it always with us when we lost power, dons't mattered where we were, It gave us bright light. Amazing it runs on only 1 AA battery and last longer than others. It really helps my family, thanks again. I will buy more for my friends.

Really bright, I bought it too have something to keep track of my dogs in the yard when we go on their walks. I live in rural Maine so we don't have street lights on our country dirt road. The yard is wooded also so we have wildlife that like to visit the bird feeders other than birds or wild turkeys. This a very useful flashlight and a great item. Thank you!

Not bright but ok & portable...
Take a closer look at the description:Flashlight, DLTND Super Bright 500Lumens Water-resistant 3.7" Mini Tactical Flashlight for Camping Hiking Fishing Hunting Outdoor Emergency Hurricanes Storms Outage. Now lets deal with its performance to the claims, of which I make NO apologies to all you miss-informed persons who do NOT know or understand the term "Bright." First thing is the light is made of good aluminum quality and is a easy carry, only about 3" in length, which can withstand drops. However, you buy a light based on its brightness also. This light is NOT even 100Lumens close, as I compared it with a 50lumens led flashlight & even with perfectly new battery (1 AA) this thing is not even as close to it, much less to the claims of 500lumens.This is misleading and so are all those paid reviewers who for whatever reason, did not in my view, speak the truth or just don't know how to review anything. This is not bright but is ok, hence the two stars. When you say bright, make sure it is 100lumens or more @ even 4000K ~ 5000K.I can not recommend just based on the body / outer shell.. I feel robbed.PS: i went to a local store and bought a COB LED flashlight for $5 and it is rated @ 100Lumens and is Amazing to see how BRIGHT that is.Update: I gave two move stars for good customer service, the seller got in touch with me and I was impressed that they take their business serious. I returned the light and the seller sent me a replacement, which was about the same. Try once and see.

OK For an Inexpensive Flashlight
I shouldn't expect much for the price and that's what I got.Pros:The light is very bright for a flashlight this small. The adjustable beam makes it possible to focus the beam to a very small area at a distance. It only weighs 2.8 oz including the battery. It's metal and appears to be well constructed.Cons:After a week, the on-off switch quit working at times. I occasionally have to bang the flashlight against my palm to get the switch to work. When you turn it on, it defaults to the lowest light level, regardless of the setting when it was last turned off. So, you have to click the on-off button 3 times to reach the higher light level. Not a huge issue, but my best other small flashlight defaults to last setting when when you click the on-off button (and it has three light levels instead of two).

The functions are annoying, just get a regular light
Ok, to be fair, it's probably in the description, but there are multiple settings and only one button. So . . . if you wanna just turn it on to the same setting, you have to basically go through a menu. Think about that for a second, most of what you wanna do with a flashlight is just shine it on something. Not make it strobe, not a special dim setting. You just want light. With one push of a button (probably while you're trying to do something else in the dark). You can't do that with this light because you have to cycle through the dim and strobe settings EVERY TIME YOU TURN IT ON. I'm sure multi-functionality looks great on the box.

Unimpressed (with AA Battery)
I bought 3 new small flashlights to compare: the EverBrite CREE LED Flashlight 200 Lumen, the DLTND Flashlight, Super Bright 300 Lumen, and the Fire Ant PT320. Of the 3 the Fire Ant is easily my favorite and I'm going to buy another one. It's so much better that I don't want to bother with the other ones. The EverBrite says its a CREE LED as does the Fire Ant. But the EverBrite's light pattern and brightness look like an old fashioned 1950's bulb (in terms of illumination pattern). The DLTND is nice and small (over an inch shorter and much thinner). It says it runs on either Single AA Battery or a 14500 Rechargeable. I don't have a 14500 and the AA only powers it very dimly. Maybe I'll get a 14500 and see what it can do, but be prepared to be disappointed with a AA. On the other hand the Fire Ant is the only truly new tech flashlight of the 3. The wide angle mode casts a bright solid circle of light with zero refraction variations in the light pattern at all. This (on the Fire Ant) is the first time I've seen this in a flashlight and it's impressive. Plus the zoom mechanism is easy and smooth - just the right amount of resistance - and the zoomed spot pretty clean (very little light outside of the small zoom target). And I like that the Fire Ant doesn't bother with 3 modes: High, low, strobe like the other two. It's a pain that I don't need. Maybe I'll improve the review of the DLTND after using a 14500 battery - BUT - if it performs well and the AA still sucks - then the seller shouldn't say that it runs on both without clarifying the performance hit on the AA.
