It fits in a standard light socket. Could not install any easier. it screws into the socket. If you are planning to replace a bulb that is in a fixture, this might not work. I have a 2 car garage that is always too dark. This light is perfect for illuminating the dark corners, being highly adjustable, and the LED lights come to full power immediately, regardless of the temperature (which has gotten down to -53℃ in the winter at times). The lumen value is so much higher than other versions of this type of light, yet this light was more budget-friendly. Win/win. I've had it going for 2 years now and not one diode has burnt out yet. Can't highly recommend it enough.
