Perfect for BMW e93.
This Backup Camera works perfectly on my 2011 BMW 335is convertible, (BMW e93). Installation took me less than hour, took me longer to run the cable from the trunk to the front. For my application, it was a snug fit, it almost did fit in its original location, but I played around with the blue/black cable and the angle in which I was inserting the camera into the trunk hole. After a few minutes, I was able to secure it properly into the mounting hole and sits snug. The video quality is very clear with no issues, the view angle sits a little too low for my taste, but it does allow me to see a wide angle and what's behind me. Therefore, I gave it 5 stars. For the price, it does its job well, the picture is clear, and it installed with ease.

Fits perfect, good picture, great price
Installed this on my E92 M3 and connected to an aftermarket Apple CarPlay module. Installation was straight forward with the help of some YouTube videos and fitment is basically perfect. Snapped right into place just like stock. Would be nice if the rubber for the handle were glued on but so far it doesn’t come off easily as others have mentioned so not a big deal. I would have also preferred that the tiny green parking line on/off wires came connected (off) by default as the parking lines are not accurate to the width of the car anyway. Connecting these wires is a bit of a pain because they’re so tiny. I did install this with a 4 pin relay tapped into the reverse lights as my car is 6MT. From what I understand that is not necessary for auto/DCT. Picture is clear with no flickering and the quality is about average compared to other OEM backup cams I’ve seen. I considered buying the $60 “HD” camera but I suspect the difference would be unnoticeable on the 480p CIC screen. For $33, this is a fantastic value and if it ever breaks I’ll just swap in another one. Highly recommend this product.

Overall impressed, good qaulity good price.
Picture qaulity is awesome on this unit. The silicon cover seemed like it was going to call off just handling before install so I glued if in. The over all size of this is a problem however. It doesn't fit into the factory hole very well. The micro switch ended up braking off during install and the one side retainer wouldn't go over the metal. I had to push it side ways three or four times for it to fully engage. The micro switch luckily was just glued on so I reglued it with some good super glue. Hasn't fallen off after five hard trunk slams. Over all install was pretty smooth. I was worried the wire wouldn't be long enoug, but even running it tucked far out of the way I still had two to three feet left. I'm over all very happy with the purchase. Will update if anything changes over time.

4 pin connector doesn't work
I plugged everything in. Made sure there was voltage through the cable via a voltage meter. The 4 pin male connector only goes in part ways, doesn't lock at all and falls out of the female connector. I don't think it goes deep enough to make contact, no signal shown on display. I tried using the filter to stabilize the voltage but still no signal, that leaving the 4pin connection.Solution may be to shave off the female connector but I did not want to damage the product and nobody should need to do that.Manual cables did not look like the actual cables given. Instructions had typos in it. Looks like it was translated using Google translate.Camera however, fits perfectly in the hole. Handle works when clicking.Ordered a replacement and same problem. The 4 pin does not reach the pins all the way on the female end resulting in no signal.

Narrow view crappy fitment
The good -Install was easy. The bad- The handle fits very loosely into the trunk and the rubber cover was not even glued to the handle so it just falls right off. I had to glue it myself. The width of the viewing field could be alot wider it's to narrow for me .

Had to get separate wires, but it works with e92 6MT w/ Mr12Volt MMI w/o PDC
This works with my e92 6MT with an aftermarket MMI (Mr12Volt)Couldn't find instructions that would work for me at all. Contacting them wasn't possible because their website doesn't exist anymore, who knows if the company even still exists. I had to figure out the solution that worked for me through trial and error.I had to buy wire separately. I used two totally new wires. I ran one from the Mr12Volt connected to the green reverse trigger and then ran all the way through the car and connected directly to the reverse light +. Then with another brand new wire, I connected to the red Rear Cam Power 12V+ on the Mr12Volt, and ran that one through the car into the back and connected to the red camera power wire. Connected the black wire to ground. and the yellow RCA cable obviously to the Rear Cam Input on the Mr12Volt.I bought the wire separately after trying to install this with the included wires for 4 days. I tried adding relays that were recommended and I tried installing the capacitor that comes with it, and nothing was working until I got the separate new wires.

Good for the price
For the price this is a decent way to add a backup camera. Let me try to address some of the issues I see in other comments.Fitment: the rubber gasket on the edge is kind of loose. I just got the gasket in place and got the camera lined up with the opening. A good solid push with both hands on the outside edges both too and bottom got the camera to install without issue.Power hookup, since this only works with aftermarket head units I recommend using the amp turn on and a relay to hook this up. This way the camera is powered on anytime the head unit is on. The run a wire from the reverse light to the head unit to signal the head unit when you are in reverse. Most bmws already have a reverse signal in the dash so that may not even be necessary.Camera image quality: yea it has about what you would expect for the price. Viewing angle is not as claimed for sure. And the detail isn’t great. This works fine for seeing behind your car, but it’s not good at helping predict where the sides of your car are. The grid lines are useless for this. And the viewing angle is too low for most aftermarket head units grid lines too.I was also impressed at how long the wiring was, this was helpful for install.
