Different and fun game
My wife and I have played this and enjoyed it very much. We haven't had a chance to play with 4 people yet but it should be fun. I had read that the instructions were difficult to understand so I looked up a how to play video online and it went very well.

Worst instructions ever!!
I love James Bond and so does my dad, so I got him this game as a Christmas gift for us all to play during the holidays. However, when we opened the game, what should have been a simple process took us about 3 hours to learn how to play. Even then, I had to look up some of the information on YouTube to feel like I really understood what the instructions were going for. The instruction manual is confusing, not super linear, and leaves out some information completely about symbols and meanigs in the game. Once we got down to it, it felt like a mix of Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Risk, which should have been super cool, but because it took so long to learn we had to budget "learning time" in to teach the rest of the family how to play the game. It was definitely a frustrating expreince overall. I think the game itself is neat, but it could use some polish and refining for the rules and teaching.

Some good "evil" worker placement Bond fun
Which Bond villian can rule the world as Number 1 of Spectre? With asymmetrical abilities and attacks designed with each villain in mind, each time you play the game it takes on a different twist.I think the best part of the game is that as a villain organization, you must complete game missions together each round. You have to worry about Bond coming to ruin your plans. AND because you are villains, there is a good chance, that to become Number 1... it just may make sense to not help the mission, or destroy another villain's chance to rule a region. That co-op meets backstabbing twist makes this a game you really just want to toss your head back, fingers linked, and let out a good muahahahahahaThe rulebook lacks some clarity around early questions. Some of the examples of gameplay used don't make it any clearer. Watch some playthroughs on YouTube to get a good grasp (and be ready to check some game forums for rule clarification)Outside of that, I rushed to purchase this at the $20ish price. More than worth the closeout price. We've enjoyed it half a dozen time in a few weeks.

Difficult to understand
Not a straight forward playing game. Not the fault of the seller....speed to ship and receive and packaging were great, it is the game itself that is the problem.
