Five stars
I love this product. It is amazing, but it is a little messy.I read some of the reviews they said it’s not worth the money, but it’s a really fun project for kids.I would not recommend kids that are not careful to use the toy because they need to follow the instructions carefully. The polish might stain your hands so be careful.

Daughter Enjoys It!
I have read the reviews before purchasing this product for my daughter and I was a bit skeptical... but it's something she really wanted, so I bought it anyway and hoped for a better experience than the others who have reviewed this and gave it 1 star. It wasn't hard to use at all... product was easy to squeeze out of the "scented polish" bottles and etc. You don't need to completely fill the nail polish bottles with "milk" all the way to the top, for those who stated there wasn't enough product to fill the 3 nail polish bottles. However, I DO have 2 CONS: 1. the polish will stain your fingers and 2. the twisty thing you put your polish bottle in to mix everything together, sucks. You're better off just shaking it yourself. Nonetheless, it was great for my daughter. She's happy with it so I'm happy that my money didn't go to waste.

Good quality, easy to use & clean!
The white base is very pearly without even adding the glitter. The volors are very bright and rich. The only downside is the red and blue kind of overpower the yellow. Also it says when mixing colors to add 2 drops of each, that makes very light colors, so if you want a darker lavender, add more color. It comes off fingers and nails easily and its not messy mixing colors. It only comes with 3 bottles for the polish and 2 circles of nails so i do wish it came with more. 6 bottles for each color mixture maybe. Overall a great buy, and a great fun activity for my daughter.

Love this nail polish maker
I have four girls ages 3-12 and they all love this product. It is easy to use and lots of fun mixing. Honestly, I don't understand why so many negative reviews. I have purchased a few a these and have never had a problem with the nail polish. The polish itself is cute and smells good, but does wash off as soon as soap and water are involved. No, you can't purchase refills for the nail polish itself, but for the price I'm paying I don't mind. I use to purchase those really cheap nail polish sets from the dollor store, and they won't last. Now my girls have something much better quality and it is absolutely cute.

Not a true rating. We haven’t used the polish yet.
I can’t give it a true rating because I haven’t actually used the polish. I bought this because it was 6.49! How could I pass up a 40 dollar toy for that price? My daughter is too young to docthe polish herself so I’ll help her but she doesn’t know that the polish’s exist yet hahahah. The stand itself is super cute! She likes putting her num noms in the windows and the polish holders (where they slide to make the polish).

Garbage. Kids can't do this; it's not re-usable and its a mess
This comes with 3 empty, hard plastic polish bottles to fill (not reusable), 1 bottle each of red, yellow and blue pigment, 1 bottle of glitter, and a bottle of the nailpolish base (which they label Milk). it also comes with the little salon-type setup, with a mixing station, some fake nails and adhesive and some plastic toy bits to create the appearance of value. in theory it's fine. you mix the colors you want with the glitter in a bottle, then you add the base and shake. there's a mixing mechanism is mostly ineffective. The real problem is that you can't get the pigment or the base into the bottles. the instructions say to place the nozzle from the colors in the fillable bottle and squeeze, however, the hole are really small, and when you place the nozzle into the polish bottle it creates an airtight seal so you can't squeeze the pigment into the bottle; basic physics. since you only need a few drops of the pigments, you just manage to get a few drops in. but then you need to do the same thing with the 'Milk', and you need a lot more of that. so while you try to squeeze the Milk into the bottle which is effectively sealed, the milk oozes out of the screw on neck of the bottle and gets all over. it has the consistency of elmers white glue, although not quite as thick as glue, but viscous enough that it doesn't flow easy. there's no way a kid could do this; there's almost no way an adult could do this. so as not to ruin the excited kid's christmas gift. the adult has to fill the polish bottle 1 drop at a time so the air can come out of the bottle... go to fast and the hole gets clogged with the milk which runs over.I tried everything i could think of to make a vent to let the air out while the bottle fills, but the hole is just too small. so drop by drop for about 20 minutes to fill one bottle. If you're unfortunate enough to have this in your house, while it's out and you already have pigment all over you hands (which by the way, hasn't come off with neither alcohol nor 2 kinds of nail polish remover), just fill all three bottles and get it over with.if you're looking for this, or if someone asked for it, stay away. please. there may be alternative, or just get them the num noms nail polish. you can probably get them 8 -10 num nom bottles for what you'll pay for this.make it a day, take them to target and let them pick out which ones they want. but don't buy this.UPDATE: to be fair, the polish did come off of my hands after a few normal washes; however, it also came off of my daughters nails with normal washing. not good.

An okay way to waste an afternoon with ages 4-7
This is not a bad toy. It's just not "mom-friendly" This requires a lot of supervision. The nail polish was difficult to mix and it doesn't stay on. The fake nails that come with it and the stickers also do not stay on. THAT BEING SAID: It was an afternoon of fun and my kids were not disappointed. They loved adding glitter to their polish and that the polish smelled fruity. We used it once and I squirreled it away so we never have to do it again. but if you are looking for a good snow day activity or I'm totally bored activity, or something to send with the kids to grandma's house, or anyone with more patience. This might be for you!.

Fun and cute!
So I don't know why this has so many negative reviews. I made nail polish with my 4 year old daughter and it was not messy. Really simple to do and very fun.

Not a toy to play for long
As described but personally I as an adult do not find it good, even my daughter likes it. The plastic is of a good quality as expected but the nail polishes seem dried. Not a toy to play for long
