NICE LITTLE HAIR DRYER
Has HOT and LOW heat settings, and the fan choices are HIGH, LOW, and OFF. I wish it had a NO HEAT setting, but, alas, it does not. After drying with hot air, cold air "sets" the curls, and they last longer. But LOW works alright. It's lightweight and easy to carry around by the hidden handle. The lid wants to keep falling closed during use, but I'll think of some way to address that issue. The bonnet is just plastic, but in the event that it should fail, bonnets are easy to come by. The elastic gathered face rim of the bonnet is a bit tight, and it hurts my forehead, but I just fold a paper towel and slip it between the bonnet and my forehead. So far, even with its minor flaws, it's the best hair dryer I have ever owned. I like that it's portable.

Convenient and Comfortable
I am using this dryer as I speak. I recently got rid of a dryer that my mom had bought me in the early 1960s--it still worked, but the bonnet was painful because of its stiff edges. I held onto it because it worked better than one I had picked up overseas in 2007. I ditched that one a few months ago. When I looked at the Andis dryer, I really liked three things about it: 1. the bonnet was large and looked very soft 2. the design of the carrying case 3. the length of the cord This is the best bonnet-style hairdryer I've ever used. I'm in my 70s and have used plenty of hairdryer bonnets. The Andis bonnet easily fits over my rollers. The dryer easily sits on my desk and I can do things on my desk without any problem. The length of thr power cord allows me to easily multi-task--my hair dries while I pay bills, read, write notes, etc. This is a really good product for a good price--it dries evenly, fits over my rollers, is relatively quiet, and is comfortable. I love it!

Side by Side comparison for Dreadlocks.
I have had both kinds of these dryers. The kind in which the hose stores compressed in the side of the machine. (linked) and this kind (with the top door access) Old machine pos and neg: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075CQG664/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews Pos: higher heat(faster drying) never powered down or overheated Neg: higher heat (bad for hair) the high heat setting melted the adhesive on the piece that attaches to the bonnet making it very difficult to use over time the hose fell out of the machine over time. Over time this became impossible to store back into the machine. New Machine (the product you are on) Neg: slow to dry (took 3, almost 4 hours on my long locks even after using a microfiber drying turban) Powers down if you use the high heat setting for around 3-5 minutes. (more of annoying, why have the feature if it doesn't work) Pos: slow to dry(better for hair) storage seems like it will last longer due to it being less aggressive on the parts to store them. Even though it takes around 3-4 hours to dry my hip-long-locks and I can only use the low-heat setting... I think I am going to prefer this dryer. Washing dreads always is an all-day event. I know I can depend on the storage system to keep my dryer in good shape over the years. I will post an update when/if needed.

Dried braids perfectly/won’t burn scalp
Perfect for drying braids. I washed my long braids and used this to dry my hair. It was perfect. I adjusted the heat settings and was able to get all my braids dry in an hour. It didn’t burn my scalp. Also worked well for my deep leave in conditioner.

The Toxic plastic smell was horrendous
I’m so disappointed in this product because it did not perform as expected. We used this for prom to do my daughter’s hair and it was a disaster- almost ruined her night - poor thing she was so stressed. First, when we opened it had a really bad chemical smell. Then when we turned it on - I guess the heat intensified the small. It was hard to get the plastic cap over the head frull of rollers. We continued with the product because we had no choice it was crunch time. It was very loud on high, the toxic smell was horrendous and after sitting with it on high for 2 hours and getting a terrible headache the hair was completely straight like if the rollers were never on. By the way we used the right size rollers and her hair is not straight but she has volume and it still came out straight with no curl in her hair. I’m only giving 2 stars because it came on time and well packaged and not the window period has closed and I can’t return it

Good basic bonnet dryer
Bought this for the purpose of drying my hair during the colder weather season; I don't typically use a handheld dryer because I hate the feeling of loose wet hair flying about. I don't do any kind of set, just stuff my hair up in the bonnet and turn it on. Overall, the dryer fulfills two of my biggest requirements: hot temp and kind of loud (I actually really enjoy the "white noise" and coupled with the heat, it's soothing. However, I do need to toggle between hot and warm, as hot can get way too much for my scalp and warm isn't nearly warm enough. Wish there was one more setting to this, but for the price, it's good enough. Two biggest drawbacks are the tightest (not adjustable) bonnet ever; I'm guessing that's why so many people have problems getting a head full of rollers in here. The elastic band is super tight and leaves a lovely red crinkle mark on my forehead. The other pain is how easily the lid slams shut; I use this mainly while seated on my bed and have to have the entire thing tipped back to avoid the lid closing. Oh, and I never figured out how to detach the bonnet from the hose and I'm afraid it will rip, so I leave it together and therefore can't close the case fully.

Me encanta porque me puedo secar en casa, había pedido una y dejo de funcionar y la volví a pedir. Ojalá me dure mas.

I found it a little difficult to get the cap on over my curlers as my hair is very long. Also the elastic around the opening is very tight and I have a small head. Other than that it was fine in fact I fell asleep while my hair was drying.

This dryer was a replacement for a similar model I had for years so I am used this type of dryer. However the cap on this one is not only smaller, it is very tight to get on. Not a good feeling fighting to fit it over wet hair. When it went on, the cap seems to inflate mostly in the back and this is even on high setting. My hair was mostly dry but I took it off because I couldn't stand the tight cap

The dryer itself works good but im on the second one and the hose attachment has just broken again and detached from the hood.
