It was a perfect solution for the application as above, this one happens to be USB 3.0. Our USB web camera cable was fished down a wall and connected to the 90 degree connection point at the wall plate with no issues. There was no stress on the USB web camera cable at all and everything functioned flawlessly. The product is well priced.

look at the placement before you buy
stupidest design ever my fault for not noticing the placement I guess. this WILL NOT WORK if you have a keystone outlet above this plug. no place to plug in the usb
