Great Rack
Purchased for my AV equipment. Very happy about purchase. Took about an hour to put together. One of the top rail nuts was bent when I received the rack but was able to bend it back into place without too much effort. As other reviews have stated, I as well purchased the caster wheels to go along with the rack. I highly recommend the wheels as well - I know it sucks paying the extra money but well worth being able to easily move the rack to get to the back side of the components. The hardware included was enough for everything I needed. I setup my rack at a depth of 22 inches which was plenty deep for my needs. A useful feature of this rack is the depth is easily adjustable if I were to ever need to make it deeper.

Solid low cost option - 25u model
I am writing this review for anyone who is on the fence about this rack. This is a great 25u low cost option. I purchased it for my home but I work in IT and won't utilize this as an option for clients that do not want to spend a lot in a heart beat.First off let me say that this rack was not my first choice. I was looking at a 4 post open rack by startech. If your looking at this review, you likely saw that product as well. While I never actually bought the startech model there were several reviews that stated it was only 17 1/2" wide on the inside of the brackets and that buyers had issues with dell servers that had rails. Since this is exactly what I wanted to mount, I was concerned. The startech model had cross braces and looked more sturdy than this model. I took a chance and bought this one because several users stated sell servers would fit fine. This rack, once assembled, was solid. It has zero give when shaken and feels like one solid piece of steel. It took me a little over an hour to assemble. I wasn't rushing. Everything fit as expected and it measures exactly 17 3/4" wide, as it should. It has several metal bends that Tripp lite states helps self square the rack. It seemed to help. One of the metal bends was not bent quite enough and sticks out a little. This was solely esthetics and did not mess with the build. It comes with 18 cable management brackets that I wasn't expecting. I also bought the casters which seem very solid.I would recommend this as a low cost option to anyone needing a good size rack. I'm sure many people want a closed case rack but decent ones are about $1,000 more than this. Get this, you won't regret it.

Buy it - you won't be disappointed
I received and assembled this rack three days ago. I'm impressed thoroughly by the all-steel construction, though it isn't without its drawbacks. The package came banged up, and if it'd taken another day to get to me, the packaging would have broken in half. (It actually did this to me as I was carrying it inside, but it's okay since I had already received it at that point, and nothing was missing.) Despite this, it was packaged very well, with each part individually wrapped in thick plastic to avoid scratches.Assembly was a breeze. The included wrench was a nice touch. I was expecting a small cheap flat one like you'd get with furniture, but it came with a full-size one. A ratchet would have made installation even easier, but I'm lazy and didn't want to go hunt one down. The whole kit went together in about an hour and a half, including the time it took for me to make mistakes and have to tear the whole thing back down again.I've got a media server in a 4U Rosewill case, on Rosewill telescoping rails mounted on the rack. What hasn't been mounted yet is the IBM rackmount keyboard/monitor combo drawer. As I have every intention to keep this thing on the ground, I can't speak to its strength when wall-mounted, but I've opted not to bother with the casters as I'm using it on carpet.A word of advice: if you have anything sized over 2U, get a second person to help you install and remove it. My case was evil to get positioned properly on the rails, and absolutely no fun to remove. I did it by myself, and my back and shoulders regret it.My only real complaint is that there seems to be nowhere short of a machine shop where I can pick up a sheet of metal I can use to put on top of the rack to protect the equipment.

Sturdy, Solid, and Quality
I'm using this for a home server rack solution. For whatever reason I was expecting this to come assembled, but wasn't upset when it didn't. The box was pretty heavy, and slightly damaged during shipping. The assembly instructions were detailed and made it pretty easy to install. My major complaint here is that the instructions referenced parts that *were not included*. There were 3 types of lock washers referenced, and 1 type included. After getting that sinking feeling that I'd just made a mistake purchasing this, I counted the washers included, and there were enough to assemble this for all the included bolts. The only reason this didn't really bother me was because the lock washers that were included looked superior to the ones referenced in the instructions. So, A+ for better washers. D- for not updating the instructions. Small things like that can make a big difference.I don't have a lot of experience with racks, so I was a bit unsure how deep to make it. Fortunately, it's not only adjustable, but relatively easy to do (I believe I loosened 8 bolts, adjusted, and tightened again). Overall it took maybe 5 minutes to adjust. Mind you, nothing was mounted in it yet. Hint: You'll want to aim for 29" of depth if you want to mount standard Dell, HP, or IBM rails.I mounted this onto the Tripp Lite Casters to make moving it easy, and I'm glad I did. I've moved it plenty of times, even though I'd only envisioned keeping it in one spot. Paying another $60+ for them kind of sucked, but I knew I'd kick myself later if I didn't.Overall, it's a high-quality, sturdy product, if a bit overpriced. That, and its flexibility with depth and ease of adjustment make me give it 5 stars.

Could be great - Be very wary of packaging damage
Both times I got this product, the packaging was damaged, especially in the center of the box, and the ends (one end was completely ripped off. UPS delivered to my neighbor. The first set, the actual product was damaged (multiple bent posts), and, after contacting Tripp Lite (as per Amazon's recommendation), they referred me back to Amazon. I ended up getting up a replacement product, which was okay - but I was worried about what to do if the box was damaged again (since, reading through the reviews, this was a common issue). The box WAS damaged, but not to the extent that original was. the middle was again flimsy (and on the verge of falling apart, as one end was open.Opening up the package, the parts seemed to be okay, but it was a pain to put the original back into the new delivery package. The parts are so long, they wouldn't fit any any boxes I had.Now to the actual product. The posts themselves are fairly well made, my biggest gripe about the product are the metal washers. All of them have a "split" in them, which makes them uneven (like a broken ring). This makes it so they occupy more space on the bolts, and also scratches the finish of the product.I was able to put this together in about one hour. I would highly recommend getting the casters for this product, if you plan to move it at all.

good
solid build quality, great packing. dislike stock locking washers. one of the nuts was broken, had to buy a replacement at the hardware store.overall good value. wish that the caster set for this was cheaper, as it would be nice to have.
