Great book for children
My 8 year old has recently starting reading David Walliams books and we got him this one for Christmas. His books are great for that age group. Some pictures on the pages to break it up. It’s definitely a good book for boys and their humour! My son loves it and enjoys reading every night often not wanting to put it down. It’s nice to find an author he likes and one who has written lots of books too!

My daughter loved it!
Peighton (8 years old) read this book all by herself! She enjoyed jumping into my bed each night to read a few chapters with me as I read my book. She was so proud of herself when she finished the book and is looking forward to choosing her next one! When I asked her what she liked about the book, she said:“I liked it when Ned’s big sister was planning to ruin his birthday bath but he found out in time and he put all the goop in the bath when his sister was going to take the bath but slime evolved! I really liked this book, I would give it a 10 out of 10!”.

A CLASSIC DAVID WALLIAMS WHICH OFFERS LOTS OF LAUGHS
Title: SlimeAuthor: David WalliamsIllustrator: Tony RossGenre: Humorous fictionNed is just an ordinary boy who lives in a small house near the sea. He uses a wheelchair, learnt tricks on his wheelchair and normally shouts,” I’ve got the zoomies!” Ned has a brilliant taste for adventure but sadly has been bullied all his life by his older sister, Jemima. But then he creates an extraordinary friend.Slime is a friend that Ned accidentally creates, and he becomes Ned’s best friend. He is a yellow blob that can translime into anything Ned asks him to. Slime loves to create mischief with Ned, so they are the best of friends.Ned and his family live in a tiny home right next to a cliff. It is on the Isle of Mulch, a small island in between the islands Twaddle and Stench. It is jampacked with nasty adults like Madame Solenzo Sloth (the laziest piano teacher ever) and Glen and Glenda Glutton (horrible ice-cream sellers). Ned’s aunt, Aunt Greta Greed, owns the island, has 101 cats and loathes children. The only fish available to eat are the disgusting shoe fish-which Ned’s father fishes. The Isle of Mulch has been treated unfairly by adults for years-now it is time for Ned, Slime, and the rest of the children to get their revenge…This book is really funny so I would give 5/5 stars for it. I would recommend this book for 6-16-year-olds because it is a great book. My favorite part of the book is definitely when Ned and Slime give revenge to the adults! It is also good because there is almost a little star on every page explaining all the funny made-up-words David Walliams creates like slime-o-cycle and sloctopus! I recommend this awesome book to you!Written by my son, Harry, who is 10 years old.

Engaging and fulfilling
Initially I had bought a few of the David Walliams books for my son as was recommended in the school read list. The David Williams books are exciting and engaging and never fails to impress with the brilliant content and illustrations. Subsequently, have bought most of the DW books for the kids and see them reading the books repeatedly, which has been a good diversion from being hooked onto gadgets. The books are certainly a good deal when bought at Amazon, good Vali for money and prompt delivery.
