does this razor have a back blade?

Yes, but the trimmer blade won't really cut anything. It'll feel like it, but it won't cut.

Is the cream the same as the butter?

Not sure... I did not like the shave cream that came with the starter pack

do 4 and 6 blade cartridges fit all razors?

No. If you have one of the older handles called 'Heritage' then these blades DO NOT fit. Imagine that. DSC designs new, upgraded blades that look really nice and then they design them to require you to purchase a new handle. That is the kind of crap that Gillette does and exactly why I quit DSC. I can't believe that did that. But they were acquired by Level for $1 billion so what else do you expect?
