As has been said before, this unit has no instructions and takes some fiddling to get it right, but that is just part of the physics. (The balance will change when I simply open the viewing screen, the weight shifts ever so slightly and throughs the balance off) After I watched a series of videos on youtube it all made sense. This is well worth the price, once you get it set up correctly you can walk around the room and film with smooth movement. I did need to buy a set of large washers at Lowes because the counterweights that came with it, all being the same size, were too heavy even using just one, to get the unit correctly stabilized. I would think that if you're using this with a DSLR you may not have this problem. Even so, it's not a big deal. For the price of this unit, it's a bargain. it's well constructed. Review: Useless with a chance of Emergency Hospital - No tools. No directions. No paper. Just the disassembled camera stabilizer which is useless. There are bolts that need specific tools so I can't even put the item together & use it. The handle also came damaged & I'm assuming the GLUED WEIGHTS (they're supposed to be 3 individual weights but they all came glued together) would have dropped on my feet & caused me to go to the emergency hospital. There's also no way to contact the seller so I can't fix the problem.

Good in theory but just not worth it.
The concept is cool but in reality, it's not a very practical product. 1) When I walk with it, it wobbles side by side. It does provide against up and down vibration of the walk but the side by side wobble is not good. 2) The package I received had no instructions, no assembly instructions nor any usage guide. 3) The camera cants by itself...sometimes looking left, sometimes looking right without my control (nor can I really control left and right turning) 4) (not the product's fault) It's pretty heavy. Try holding a couple of pounds on your arms for 5 minutes and you will start feeling the strain....hold it for half an hour and I guarantee you will want to throw this thing away.

Good quality but difficult to properly adjust
Haven't quite figured out how to use it yet. Appears to be a high-quality, well-made product however - a poor man's Steadycam.

Great camera stabilizer for the price
Fun to play with as it fits cameras that can mount on a tripod and has a phone holder as well. I like the compact design but the bolt you tighten to stabilize the handle would come loose sometimes causing me to re-shoot a video. Can be solved with a drop of threadlocker. As for stability, it’s lightweight and worked perfect rly for me but I can see it as a challenge for more active shots which require more weight to stop from shaking. Other than that, highly recommend this product.

Connectors are weak
The weight is great, and the design is good, unfortunately the connection points either have bad hardware or they are designed improperly because they do not hold in place. I had the whole unit basically disintegrate in my hand while in the middle of filming, and as a result broke one of my cameras. I replaced some of the hardware with better, and it seems to be working now, but it will take a few days before I know for sure

Scrap Metal. A Full Refund Would Be Great!
Worst thing I ever bought. Nobody uses this junk. Great concept idea... until you use it. Just sits here... Scrap Metal.

Professional Steadicam owner/operator says yes...
Professional in film production for 40+yrs and I have to say this is an amazing device. Heavy duty build with out being heavy. Setup with the Samsung S8+ took less than a minute...same with DSLR and Sony Video Camera. We're shooting a series "SolitaryMan" for network and we will be using this for the shoots. I've been a certified SteadiCam owner/operator since 1978 and I vote yes...you must own one of these. Perfect price for the low to no budget project. Forgive the not so perfect flying in the video...had a cold and was not stable myself.
