Refinished a set of 12 year old headlights. When I laid down the clear, it had this gray haze in it. Looked almost like trapped moisture or as it would normally look as if the humidity was too high. But, it wasn’t, the conditions were perfect for spraying clear. Emailed ERA paints at 11pm cst on a Saturday night, mentioning the issues I was having, and got a response before midnight!! I’m not sure if it was just the way the solvent layed out in the clear or what, but after 7 hrs of cure time it cured out. Looks great!! WAY better than I was expecting from a spray can clear!!!! Would HIGHLY recommend this clear for a small job you don’t wanna bust out your gun for!!! An excellent product and even better manufacturer!!!!! You just don’t get customer service like that anymore!!!!!

Love this paint and 2k clear coat. I'm not a professional by any means and I don't paint often, but I have found era paints to be easy to work with and always seems to come out great( for what I need an my standards) the paint isn't cheap but it is the only paint I'll use when doing projects like my race bike.

I bought this clear coat for a little touch up job I'm doing for my son's car the advisor I spoke to said that I made a very good buy and would appreciate the compliment that it enhance the rushed paint job and it was the absolute truth. Product is awesome

This is the way to go to make all your hard work shine like it should! My spray can paint job looked great with their clear but It was softer then I could live with. A light sanding and a few coats from this clear and it was fabulous in shine and stregth. I will definitely buy again.

Great product with a professional finish

So pretty! It didn’t leave an ugly yellow finish like the previous brand I used.I used it over GM code: “Olympic White” and it left it looking like the original 😍

This is the best 2K clear that I have ever used. Spays on evenly and it does it with no runs. I used this product on a guitar body. This 2K clear was completely dry after 12 hours. This product is about $5.00 more than the competitors but so worth the extra money.

I’m a novice so I didn’t expect professional results, but this looks awful. You know it’s bad when family members try to cheer you up by saying things like, “Well, at night and far enough away it looks okay” or “At least you bought the good 2k clear coat and it will hold up better”. Great, so it will look bad for an extra-long time.Even with a proper breather, the fumes are terrible. I’m fairly certain that there may be some belly-up rodents if they were anywhere near where I was spraying this stuff.I did a lot of research on how to apply clear coat including several YouTube videos. You know the ones where they each tell you something different. In the end, I followed the instructions on the can. Despite doing so, it looks uneven and not shiny like a factory clear coat. It looks just a bit better than if I trained a chimp to apply it with a paintbrush. It’s uneven and doesn’t have the shiny luster you’d expect from a clear coat. I am still giving it 3 stars because I’m not an expert and maybe, just maybe, the product isn’t terrible. Unless you are seasoned at auto painting, you may want to avoid the disappointment and hire a pro.
