Amazing product and training tool. If you're considering a high quality e-collar at a reasonable price, e-collar technologies is the way to go. I really like that the remote on this can be used with both my dogs (black for dog 1, red for dog 2). Make sure you do some research/youtube-ing on how to introduce your dog to the collar! E-collars are not directional, so it can confuse your dog if you are not using a prong collar or slip lead for assistance at first. The concept for training is "pressure on, pressure off" for basic obedience. You can also correct your dog at a higher level for bad behaviors like jumping on people or counters, biting, blowing up at the mail man, etc. One of my dogs, 20lbs, gets very over reactive to a tight leash and it makes her behavior worse. By using the remote to interrupt her "naughty thoughts" ie, chasing a squirrel, very early (ears perk, wrinkles in forehead) it helps to decrease the adrenaline rush that wold lead to an embarrassing explosion of barking and pulling. Seriously, if you are considering a remote collar, bite the bullet at buy this! Life changing.

I have an almost 2 year old 55lb rescue dog who has been a handful to live with since we got him last January. We've been through Petsmart training and even had an in-home trainer come in. He's super smart, but I still struggle with his bad behavior: jumping, pulling & lunging on walks, mouthing, and grabbing and immediately chewing anything he can get a hold of. I also have an very large 10 month old who is a follower and quickly learning bad habits. But she is extremely timid and did not respond well to the in-home training methods. I purchased these collars on recommendation from an online training series I've been watching (SolidK9Training). I've been using these collars in conjunction with the methods shown in the videos for a couple of weeks. Wow! What a difference in training. Both dogs now respond immediately whether the collars are on or not. My 10 mo old no longer shuts down when I try to get her to listen. And they are both walking on loose leash and heeling with only a couple small corrections. Just having the collars on now makes them so much more relaxed and less hyper. No more jumping or mouthing. I really like that I can easily adjust the stim level or just set it to vibrate if I want to get their attention. I love that I can easily control both dogs from a single transponder. And I like the simplicity of the buttons. I had previously bought a different collar for my dog and the remote had so many buttons on the front and the "shock" button was not the largest one, so I was always hitting the wrong button. I also really like the light feature. I don't have to attach a separate night light to their collars any more when we walk at night. These were definitely the best money I've spent so far in my training for these dogs.

OMG amazing! My TWO GSDs (German Shepherd Dogs) are completely obedient with this tool. I mostly needed the vibration tool just to remind them before they are entranced in their full on predator mode. One vibration click and they snap right out of it. They flick their ears, just stop doing whatever behavior I clicked them for, and/or look back at me for instructions. We now have this silent communication that is a language completely its own. I click it if they get to a boundary in the yard and they turn around, I click it if they do not listen to the "stand down" command and they stand down, I click it if they are "about" to do something I have previously told them not to i.e. trample through my flowers, bark at neighbors, etc. I rarely need to use the shock....if fact I do not remember when I used it other than the initial training. They know that the potential is there to correct them, so they obey. The range is awesome. It is not a lie....they ARE water "proof" as long as the rubber plug is replaced after charging. My pups swim a LOT! The charge lasts for days!!! I will NEVER ever use any other collar again! (and I had two other manufacturer's products before these....They were cheap garbage and unreliable.) THESE are the best! NOTE: I think being an informed owner has made this a great tool for us. I researched how to use, how to train, when to shock, how to use the vibration so I do not have to shock (correct) them. I watched a video online about how to train a dog using an electric collar BEFORE I made my dogs wear it. I also tried the shock on myself to see how it feels (just on my hand). The shock, at the right number is similar to a cattle or horse fence. I love my GSDs and treat them like my babies.

Love that it fit right in my hand so easy to use. This mini educator is saving my dog from aggression. Tapping for attention and zapp for aggression stop her write away from escalating. Last night we had the best session yet at training. I had to use the negative only 2 time. The rest she was so calm. The trainers were amazed. Life is good again.

I have two dogs. They do well in the houSe and out in the yard. I need for them not to run off and walk beside me. They are both friends and get along great. My Hazel was trained and is 3 years old. Shadow, is trained 1 year old and now trying to get away with things by not listening. A great tool for both. They are young I know, just need to work with them both repetitively.

The remote just randomly turns off - not good when you are in the middle of training or when you need to grab it quickly for a correction. It never did this in the beginning. With the expense of this item, I would expect a longer warranty. I am unable to message seller as it says customer support window is closed as of (date). I do not recommend this product.
