Only used it to check it out but so far impressed
Have a Dodge truck with a 5 volt issue and it takes testing of every electrical component to find where the problem is. A power probe and this should cover all the bases. I was looking a an easy to read multimeter to beat around an engine compartment as well as a small oscilloscope to look past just basic volts, this one gives both to me for a pretty good price without giving up too much being an all in one.

Excellent Meter with Lots of Options
I have never owned an Anemometer (wind meter) before so I don't have anything to compare it to, nor do I have a specific use for one. Inside the box you will find the anemometer with a detachable lanyard, a zippered soft case, a 9v battery and instructions. The battery door is fastened with a phillips head screw. I installed the battery and attempted to power the unit on with no success. I tested the battery and it was dead. The brand new battery was dead on arrival so I installed a new one and it powered up. On the LCD screen the meter displays air temperature and wind speed. The display is backlit with the press of a button and it also features selectable scales for wind speed and temperature. Wind speed options are m/s, ft/min, knots, km/hr, mph, °C/°F and Beaufort scale. Temperature is selectable in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The instructions are very detailed how to change settings. The meter seems to work well and I assume it is accurate as I have nothing to compare to. The build quality is nice and the unit feels good in hand. The dead battery was annoying but not the actual products fault so I will not deduct any stars for that. I will rate this anemometer at 5 stars.

Very effective for general and comparison measurements.
It does a very good job for a lower cost meter. This is certainly not a calibrated laboratory instrument and I did not expect it to perform as one. We have a couple of anemometers for general purpose use/comparison measurements and this one is more sensitive than the other two we use. It is sensitive enough to read intake airspeed on a 25"x30" plenum (see example photo) and of course it works very well on exhaust ducts. Measures wind speed outdoors as well. The resolution is good enough to easily distinguish between a MERV 3 and MERV 5 filter on an HVAC intake. As previously mentioned, this meter is great for comparison use and gives repeatable results. For our purposes it is a very useful tool that allows us to visualize airflow and airflow patterns in HVAC and refrigeration installations. Whether Km/hr, ft/min or MPH - the units/scales on this meter allow a multitude of useful measurements to be obtained for general analysis. I can also mount this meter on it's 1/4-20 threaded socket to a tripod for extended measurement periods where we are recording a maximum or minimum flow as such function is a provision on this meter. I like the small size and ease of use. It's built solid, the measurements show repeatability and the menu options are very basic and easy to use. Great for our purposes - Two thumbs up!

Not terribly accurate
I've used better (and more expensive) anemometers and this one consistently read lower than what they indicated. It took more of a breeze to get the blade going. Since this one is priced lower, perhaps I shouldn't be expecting more.
