I got this for multiple costume uses in the future (This year a Jedi, maybe a grim reaper next year). The material was a lot thinner than I was expecting and only had one tie up near the top (so you can't really keep it closed unless you modify it). I bought the XXL size because I wanted to be sure it fit. The hood was great, as it was perfectly oversized to give me a good jedi look, even though I wore a Star Trek uniform under this. I felt a lot like shooting lightening from my fingers. It was just sheer enough that I could see through the hood in well lit conditions, but dark enough that it is pitch black. I would definitely recommend this one if you need a hooded cloak to look mysterious for your costume but don't want to cough up a lot of money.

I really love the look of this robe! The hood on this robe is designed to perfectly hang on the shoulders without excess material, giving you that Star Wars Jedi/Sith Lord look--whereas many robes with larger hoods have a medieval magician look to them. I bought it to wear to Star Wars movies, because it makes the movie going experience not just fun, but a memorable experience which connects me with other Star Wars fans--for this situation, this robe will be perfect.With that said, there are a few warnings:1) The polyester material is a bit rough, so if you have sensitive skin, you might want to wear a long sleeved garment underneath. It may soften after a couple of washings, I don't know about that yet.2) You get what you pay for. While not transparent, it is a thinner lighter material, so expect it to be a very nice robe for the price, but if you have loftier aspirations for dressing as a Jedi, you may want to consider purchasing a cotton robe which wears differently because of it's weight.3) It runs LARGE. If you're in between sizes, (especially due to weight/height) order your usual size. I ordered the next size up, and now will have to hem and make adjustmentsWith that said, I would certainly purchase this garment again since the quality and pricing are good, and allow for personalizing the robe to stand out amongst the other Jedi at the theaters without the worry of ruining an expensive garment. You will feel confident wearing this robe--it looks great on!

The fit is okay I got a xl and I'm 6'1 180 lbs and my ankles show but the rest is perfect. The fabric is thin but it's what was expected the quality is okay it's easy to put on and comfort is avg but I'm happy with it for the use I need it for.

This is very good quality for the price. Much thicker and nicer than the popular Halloween costume shop robe and about $1 cheaper. Whoever said it’s thin like a graduation gown must not have graduated. Lol. I’m super bummed out to have to return this. I sized up based on the reviews and it’s GIANT. I’m swimming in it and it looks ridiculous. I think people are in denial about their true size when they claim things run small. I’m 5’3” and a size 8-10 and bought I large. I should have gotten a medium. Maybe even a small. Too bad a smaller size won’t arrive before Halloween and now I’m SOL and trying to find something as good for the price at the last minute. Should have trusted my gut on this one. Don’t listen to the bad reviews on size/quality.

The material is polyester so its a tad itchy but its not horrible, true to size overall pretty good

Worked out perfectly for a last minute costume. Mom wouldn’t let ol’ dad spend too much, so luckily this cloak popped up at a great price. Nice big hood, great roomy fit. This product saved Halloween!

I rated this product 5 stars because the material and construction are head and shoulders above what you get in many of the other Halloween costumes on Amazon--I know because I ordered a BUNCH this year, all at the same time in an attempt to get something I could use as part of a witch's costume, specifically one that opened (a robe) so that I could wear over a black dress. This totally fit the bill and wasn't anything like the "graduation cap" material or cheap stretchy black dress stuff that you get, especially from overseas sellers from a specific country.I am 5'1", female, size 8-10 dress, 135 lbs. I positively SWAM in this costume and it dragged on the floor by several inches. I could have ordered down the next size and it probably would still be very roomy. I could have worn a wool winter coat under it.I am not at all knowledgeable about cosplay costumes that have to really look like a particular character, e.g., shape of hood, shape of sleeves, overall shape of the robe matters; I just wanted something with witch-like sleeves and a hood that I could easily (I can't sew) augment to look more witch-like (ragged sleeves and bottom hem). For my purpose this would have been spectacular if it were not so long and roomy. Because I can't sew this would have involved more work than I wanted (or had the skill to) spend on getting it to the look I wanted. That is not the robe's fault.I rated 5 stars considering everything.

Not for bigger guys like me.I'm 6’3” and and 330lbs, too small in shoulders area.Good quality though! A LOT better than these were 10+ years ago.I’ll have to lose some weight to wear one properly.
