The smell of the product is nice, you can get a good lather with a small amount. I was influenced by Tiktok to purchase it as I've been on a rollercoaster of a haircare journey. I'm not sure if it's user error, but every time I washed my hair- which is only about 2-3 times a week, it made my hair feel like I had gel in it. My hair, mainly noticeable on the top of the head, would feel a bit rough, again like I had gel in it, & my hair would stick together. I did have someone say my hair looked healthy, but it didn't feel that way. I bought the peppermint conditioner to pair & I wasn't dissappointed because it felt nice & soothing & fresh, but I couldn't get past the shampoo. I shared the product with my mom, who felt like it was just an ordinary shampoo, so it lasted about a month. I tried washing different ways & changing frequencies to wash less in the week, and each time felt the same. I even used less of the product in case I was using too much & that didn't work either. I changed my in-shower comb routine and after shower care, still the same outcome or frizzy hair. The girl on Tiktok had really lengthy & curly hair, mine is just long, thick and wavy so I'm not sure whether that's possible to make the difference in the product's effect? Overall, it was a no from me. I went to an all natural shampoo bar & am trying that out.

I love this shampoo. I rinse my hair and it doesn’t feel drying like others I have used before. The smell is amazing and the ingredients are good for your scalp. It lasts a while aswell. I recommend

It makes my hair feel incredibly soft for a shampoo, but I won’t be buying again because it smells like sweet vomit to me. The smell doesn’t linger after all my other hair products, but it’s bad enough while shampooing. Also not great for dandruff

I have low porosity hair and have been on a hunt for a good moisturizing shampoo that is non-stripping yet still cleaning. This product is a true godsend! It not only has my hair feeling moisturized it also makes detangling a BREEZE!! It truly cut my styling time down by half because I spent wayyyy less time detangling. Also!! A little goes a long way ! I have ALOT of hair and I used about a quarter size amount for each of the 4 sections of my hair. The bottle literally looks untouched. I already know this is about to last me forever. And you really can't beat the price point. I also want to say that this is my first time trying out anything from design essentials so I cannot wait to purchase more of their products!

Product has me shook. 1st time using it, the amount of hair that came out is minuscule compared to what I’m used to. I’m not 100% sure but I believe my hair type is 3c/3b & mid back length. I usually detangle my hair while it is loaded with conditioner and a paddle brush from the ends up. (The only way that has worked for me previously). I barley had to finger detangle it with this shampoo. 10/10 highly recommend.
