Surprisingly durable, could be a bit brighter, tho not much of a complaint. I’m getting another set again :)

Wish they were brighter but they add some ambiance.

Imagine the most dim lights you've ever seen. What's dimmer than that? These lights.1. These lights were about 3x dimmer than I expected. I put all the work into setting them up outside only to find they're dimmer than a bad flashlight. My nephew's bedside lamp could offer more light.2. They were an unreal hassle to set up. The product came with no screws, hooks, or anchors with which to hang them up. THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to install these lights. There's an instruction manual, for sure, but it doesn't say *anything* about how to install them.3. The remote capability was barely better than no remote at all. For one, they include no indication as to where the remote's receiver is on the light strip, so I have to press the same button repeatedly while pointing the remote at every inch of the light strip in order to get a proper response from it. The controls are unlabled, confusing, and inconsistent in function. They have two buttons you can press to change the light from flash mode or fade mode, but no button to revert the light to its basic, static mode. I had to install the app in order to set the light back to normal because pressing every button on the remote sure didn't help.Obviously I can't return them now (and probably wouldn't because of how much trouble it took setting them up), but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Please do not waste your money on this product.UPDATE: After a confusing, unhelpful, and rather condescending interaction with customer service, my review stands.

This is my third different attempt at stringing lights around our pergola. My previous two string brands were both solar-powered, which I'd thought would be great because they didn't use any electricity. The first brand's strings completely died after 18 months. The solar-charged batteries were not removable or replaceable, so it required completely new strings (major pain). I attributed that to the brand and ordered a different brand's solar-powered string lights. Those ones lasted 13 months, and also did not have a replaceable battery. Not only did neither of the solar string brands last, but even before they totally crapped out, their bulbs stopped getting as bright as they had when they were new. So I gave up on solar lights and bought these, plug-in lights. I am so thrilled with the look of them; the fact that they always reach full brightness, since they're not powered by a waning battery; and the ability to dim them and set them on a recurring schedule through the app is a freaking amazing bonus. THIS is the way to go, people.

Overall okay. I can't really find a use for the modes on the controller as they are all very fast. The switch on/off intervals are cool but who wants their lights to turn on/off every 3hrs? In terms of dimming the lights, they are already very dim... I the look, and size - the main issue is the very low brightness. Could still be used for mood light in the dark

This item is great for what it does but the design is flawed because when it rains, water enters the plastic casing around the light.

Lights looked good, easy to install. Remote went out after a few days but the app on phone worked to turn on, dim, and set the timer. Happy with produce until lights started going out after a few months and I cannot find any info on being able to replace them. . 8 lights out now and they are only about 6 months old. Disappointed in the value of these with no way to replace the bulbs...
