Phone will constantly think something is plugged in even if all you have is plugged in is the adapter, but besides this point. It works perfectly. Wired headphones seem to get louder than bluetooth ones also. Stays connected good so far. Charging speed unaffected (still works with fast charging). Cable quality seems high because its braided. Some of the parts on the USB connectors or all the connectors, feel metal.

So far so good....and a decent price. Was a easy hook up from phone to cord. My phone doesn't have a spot for aux cord hook up so this works great!!! Ty

The headphone jack works just fine, but the USB C does not charge at all on the device for which I purchased the item -- in fact the device stays lit-up, causing the batter to drain. It's a problem.The charger DOES work on a different device. No idea why.Great idea, but only if it works.

My new phone doesn't have an AUX jack and my car doesn't have BLUETOOTH. So what's a guy supposed to do? MacGyver it! I connect this to my charger, and then connect my phone to this with my AUX cable, and voila, I can now play tunes on my car speakers AND charge my phone at the same time in my car! If you read a lot of reviews for similar products, many of them say either the item plays music ok, or it charges ok, but it doesn't do both or do both well. This one does! The audio quality on this is as good as if I was using my AUX directly to my phone. And it does charge FAST even while playing audio. The ONLY thing to be aware of is, if you are charging your phone and have it connected to audio, but aren't playing any audio, but the radio is on, you will hear a static-y noise. If you simply turn off the radio (since you're not playing any audio anyway), the noise goes away. So literally the only time you'll hear this is if you have the radio on and phone connected but aren't listening to anything. Other than that, this product is perfect. And even with that small issue, just turn off the radio or use your phone to play music, and the problem is solved.

Works well on my S22 Ultra with one caveat: you have to go into Developer Options and toggle "Disable USB audio routing" to get it to work. (See screen cap)Not sure why Samsung enables that by default, but if you don't toggle it the 3.5mm port won't work at all.

If you like to use wired headphones this is a good adapter and works fine, but sound is definitely diminished and if you are in any area with bad or sketchy reception I think you will have a hard time with clarity. They work fine for my purpose, which is sitting in my office. so I can be wirelessly connected to my desktop and still able to answer calls privately with the wired ear buds. The other piece is so you can charge your phone even with the ear buds plugged in and that seems to work just fine, maybe a little slower than if you just plugged directly into the phone but not a huge difference.
