I had socket weld ball vales on my pool return lines for ten years and the handles broke, and they were hard to turn. Removed valves and replaced with union ball valves. Now I can remove them and lube with silicon grease anytime. Should be standard practce for pool line installation.

Heavy feel. Tight to turn so they will need good bracing and support. Looks like there’s no obstruction on flow. Using for the return on a reef tank.

Great quality valves for irrigation or whatever fluid trying to control. Easy spin handle and full port opening.

Great valve and union! Use them on my above ground pool pipes.

I bought a “used-very good” valve and it looks new and works perfectly.

Was hoping these would be better than the cheap pvc valves I’ve been replacing for years but, already have handle on one of the 3 I bought starting to seize up. With only a 30 day window for returns I guess I’m stuck. At least with the unions they’ll be simple to replace without having to rework piping.

I can remove the valve if necessary for maintenance or repair without having to cut the pipe.

Installed four valves on my pool equipment. They are well built and work well. My only complaint is that once installed, they are difficult to turn by hand. I even used extra silicone lube on the the valve prior to installation.
