Great safety shoe!
I work in a warehouse and am required to wear safety shoes. I bought a pair of Puma steel toe shoes several years back and found them to be the most comfortable of all the safety shoes I've tried over the years. When I saw these I had to give them a try. I was NOT disappointed!!! There are so many safety shoes I cannot wear for long, if at all. After working on concrete floors for 8-12 hours a day, 6-7 days a week, for over 12 years....the kind of shoe you wear can make all the difference in being able to work without feet and back pain. These Puma feel as comfortable on my feet as if I was wearing my usual comfy sneakers. There is no waiting period of having to "break" them in before they're comfortable. They are light weight, not at all heavy like some steel toe shoes. They last much longee than other safety shoes I've tried (the last pair I bought before these, I've had for over 4 years!) And, they're pretty nice-looking shoes, no wide, bulbous toes that look like clown shoes like some safety shoes I've worn in the past. My only complaint is that SOMEtimes they may be a little narrow, but this should only be a problem for those with wide feet. I highly recommend these shoes! Pumas are now my go-to shoes when I'm in need of safety shoes. The price spent is well worth it, you won't be disappointed!!!!

Better than expected
I needed a pair of more durable shoes after starting a manufacturing job in a warehouse. I do lots of standing and walking, working with power tools and heavy equipment, and I'm constantly covered in sawdust. I was leary about ordering something as specific as good-fitting footwear without trying them on, but I gave it a shot. I wear an 8 1/2, that's what I ordered and they are true to size. I have a bit of a wider foot, and these feel just fine. I didn't need any time to "break them in," they were comfortable right from the get-go. They are very solid and well-made. I did put Dr. Scholl's inserts in that I wore in my other shoes, so I can't speak for how they feel without any. However, I wore the same inserts in my previous shoes, and my feet still hurt at the end of the day. After a 10 hour day with these shoes, my feet feel fine. They look really nice on my feet, I'm kind of picky about how some shoes look fine off, but they look funky when I put them on. I highly recommend these, the price is good for what you're getting!

Better than expected
I work in a shipping facility with exposure to all weather related elements and I walk 50 miles per week on average. I have always worn a hiking type boot or pull on work boot. Steel/composite toes are a requirement in my field. Now that warmer weather is here, I was looking for something a bit lighter for my daily boot. These are exactly what I was looking for. Sneaker comfort while still safety compliant. I was more than impressed! Zero break in time and zero complaints. My recommendations to the manufacturer would be to find a better insole. This shoe has very little cushioning but don't let that deter you. I have not had any back, foot or knee pain since switching to this shoe. It does run a bit wide but that is also not a problem since you will have a bit of room for late in the shift foot swelling. I am not much of a girly girl and was not excited about the pink color, but once I received the shoes, the pink wasn't an issue. They are very subtle and look cute without throwing out the "I'm girly" vibe. Overall, you can't go wrong with this shoe. I ordered my normal size and could almost have gone a half size smaller. I'm super happy with my purchase.

Uniquely great safety shoes.
8 Month Update: Still love these shoes! I got the pink ones too, because they're pretty. Still no cracking on the sole, and still just as comfortable. I haven't had a single issue with my feet or legs, and actually look forward to changing into them when I get to work. I depended on the reviews when choosing the size. This is the first time I bought my regular size vs half size larger, and they fit perfectly. If you wear heavy socks, I would suggest going up a half size, though. I do change the insoles in all my shoes as soon as i get them, which take up a little more room than the thin pad that comes with these shoes. One thing these have that i've never seen before is a nubby, built in gel support heel pad. A very nice and clever addition. I've never bought Puma's before, I've always stuck with the recommended brand for people with foot issues, but had problems with them cracking across the bottom. The sole of these does not have a linear extruded pattern in the rubber that will contribute to this being an issue, but I will update my review if it does the same. I've been wearing them for 3 weeks, enough time to give a better review. They felt great as soon as I put them on. Plenty of room in the toe box, can't feel the steel at all and room to wiggle my toes. I work in a warehouse and walk on concrete 8 hours a day and I'm very hard on my safety shoes. Usually go through 2 pair a year. I've started using a shoe horn to hopefully eliminate the wearing/tearing of the heel materials, which is a problem i've had with all my previous shoes. I can't go without saying how amazing they look. (usually the first on the everyone's list, but is just a huge added bonus for me). They look like regular sneakers, can't see the bulky toe box at all. They're breathable, flexible and extremely fashionable. The weight feels more like composite than steel. I wouldn't think twice about wearing them outside of work, except they're not waterproof on the tops.

Not the best but for price they'll work.
I've worn a lot of steel toes, and these ones aren't great. Arch support isn't great, and they're comfortable for the first hour or so, but after 8+ hours, forget about it. I have to say they are lightweight for a steel toe, and they do slip on easily. The price was fair, but I'm going to stick with Keens; they are a bit expensive, but the quality is there. Hope this helps. It's hard to find a good women's factory work shoe.
